[Someone who is new here has gotten a bit of a surprise, and not just the recent insanity either. Mostly the fact that she can't do certain things she's always been able to do.

So she's going to the network to ask a vital question.]

I have a minor question to ask of you all, but mostly people here who have powers from home. It's a silly question, really, but it's been bothering me since the whole unfortunate events that went down.

Anyway, my question is this; have any of you lost access to a skill or power or ability you had before you ended up here?

I'm assuming you mean a method of getting around that isn't walking, yes?

yeah, it's not walking. i can still do everything else though.

Hm, different from me it seems. I'm unable to do anything beyond the basics, it's quite dist--off-putting.

[When you can normally change the data of the world? Not being able to do it is very jarring.]

[Well, no point in hiding it right? And it's not like anyone she knows is here. Also she doubts anyone would believe her.]

Being able to manipulate the data of the world to do, or create, anything. But mostly combat, which I feel would have been most helpful during the past events.

why would you even want to do that/

Everything is made of data, you, me, this planet and it's moons. And it is something that I can do, that's all.

[When the world is just random numbers and such, one doesn't tend to think about it too hard. Also not going to mention that she's not the only one who could do so back home.]

this world isn't made of data.

[ He's fairly sure of that. Then again, he had no idea the other Twilight Town was data either, until things started to fall apart. ]

what makes you think it is/

Because that's the way of the world. Everything is made up of numbers and wave patterns and such.

[They seem to have two different ideas of what data is.]

... Wait, do you think I mean data like on a computer? Because I don't mean that.

not the real worlds. they're made of something else.

[ Because there has to be a difference. ]

My world is real and that was the way of it, if the use of the word "data" bothers you I could just say "matter".

[So stubborn, sheesh.]

there's many worlds. how do you know they all have the same rules/

Because it's how the universe is.

... How do you not know what the universe is?

are you going to tell me or not/ i'll just look it up otherwise.

The universe is everything around us, even space and stars and different planets. There are many universes, in fact I do believe this planet is in a different universe from the one my planet is in.

No, it holds worlds.

what do you mean it holds worlds/ i thought the other worlds were just around it.

Worlds, or planets, along with stars and everything are in a universe.

[She's trying her best to explain this.]

okay. and all universes follow the same rules/

I assume so? This is my first time leaving my universe.
