[Oh look it's Ana again.

In Greatmoon Groves. Again.

There's no violin this time, though, and she has turned the video on and adjusted it in order to walk away and... completely out of frame.]

Kleio!

[She has something in her hand, a kind of dried meat but cut far too large for any human mouth to chew on without hurting their jaw. The reason becomes obvious enough a moment later when a large creature comes bounding onto the scene, wearing a saddle and skidding to a halt like an excitable puppy.

Ana laughs and tosses the treat to the dragon-like creature who snatches it out of the air and chews happily. She comes back into the view and pets the creature's neck affectionately. That mess with Majestas was... awful. Absolutely awful. And she's still in recovery though thankfully the bandages are gone now, but having her companion here is already making her feel better.]

Hello everyone! Meet Kleio! She's what's known as a Skyscale where I'm from. They're sort of a distant cousin of dragons, and Kleio here was raised by me from an egg to become my mount! She's very good at flying and--

[And chewing on Ana's hair, apparently.

She's still somewhat young despite her size, at least in terms of animal maturity.]

... Kleio, please.

[Achem! Just going to very gently push her big ol' snout away so she stops.]

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce her now that I finally have her here, and also offer anyone a flight around Prismatica! I know there are limits to how far we can even go, but if anyone has been itching for a bird's-eye view, I'd be glad to give it for a bit of chroma! Feel free to ask me anything about her, too!

Too many to count. I've tamed a lot of animals during my travels.

I have to say I'm a little envious.

It's not an easy skill to perfect. I've got my fair share of scars from screw ups when attempting to tame or help animals.

But I will say a griffon does make the best bed when having to camp outside, so I can see why you'd be jealous.

Better than a bed of kitsune tails? Seems unlikely.

I mean those would be very fluffy, yes, but a griffon will preen you and make a sound like a big happy catbirdowlthing that's super comforting.

Maybe I'm just biased, though. I've never actually met a large kitsune before.

You've got me there. I have kitsune tails permanently now, but I don't sound like a catbirdowlthing.

I can't imagine many people can replicate the sound of a griffon properly.

That would be an interesting amalgamation of animal parts. I wonder if any one blessing would even have all the right ones.

Cats are Cordis, but I think when we get wings they're usually moths and not birds.

It makes me look disturbingly close to a particular Elder Dragon that I have nothing but contempt for.

Even if he is dead.

I'm sorry to hear that. I guess I'm lucky I don't have any negative associations with cats or kitsune.

I was just a fish the first two months! I would have been fine with that!

Well, I had legs, but I also had scales and gills, and some fins down my back.

Would take that over horns on my head and heavy wings for sure, though.

Maybe it's just because I don't have a griffon to ride on, but being able to fly sounds wonderful.

It is when I'm on a mount! When I'm trying to lift myself up with those wings it actually hurts!

Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong.

I don't think flying should hurt, no. Maybe your wings aren't big enough to be able to fly easily...?

Maybe. I thought it was perhaps a strength issue but I've been a bowman almost as long as I was a farmhand so I really can't imagine my shoulders not being able to carry my own weight.

I'm not a zoologist, but I have to imagine there's a reason winged animals don't usually exceed a certain size.

You're likely right. Not that I'm very large, but if humans were meant to fly without help we would have had wings already. Or bodies built for them. Aren't birds the ones with hollow bones?
