[ The video turns on to Rey sitting in front of a display of brightly colored glass items, a forced smile on her face. She's never actually made a post of her own, before. Attention freaks her out. There's a five second span where the look on her face screams 'ABORT ABORT' but she pushes through it, exhaling. ]

Hello. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Rey. I've recently opened up a shop on Level 2 that deals in all different kinds of junk and recycled items, as well as electronic repair. I have a background in spaceship salvage, and my workers all have varying degrees of knowledge or interest in similar things.

[ And awkward pause, before D-0 beeps at her in binary and nudges her foot with his nose. This is of course off-camera, but she looks down and smiles, before her eyes return to the video feed. ]

You'd know about that, too. Though Tattooine has more humidity than Jakku.

[ Which... says a lot about Jakku, really. ]

Wait. How do you know I'm from Tatooine?

[ Rey rubs the side of her neck, awkwardly. ]

I'm from your future. Or the future of our shared galaxy, I mean. I never knew you.

Uh huh. Sure you are. No offense, but I'm going to need some proof.

[ She blinks, unsure. Obi-Wan had wanted nothing to do with the future, but Anakin somehow wants her to prove this to him? She is certain that given he isn't breathing through a mask he hasn't fallen to the Dark yet, so saying he is Darth Vader may mean nothing. Though she also doesn't know how long he was Vader before the mask. She could ask Ben, but she isn't sure he'd know, either.

After a moment she switches to a private frequency, because there's one thing Ben told her that she does know Anakin would also be aware of. ]

You married Padmé Amidala in secret. She has two children by you, Luke and Leia. Both of them were my masters. Your... grandson is also here. Leia's son.

[Squint. Due to Anakin having nightmares of things to come, he's totally for knowing the future and figuring out how to change things. He might not take it all very well though.

He kinda stares at her for a moment, but does his best to keep his face perfectly even.]

The senator and I are just friends. Jedi are forbidden attachments, I would never do such a thing.

[Children??? Plural?? He knew about one .... and a grandson. In a way this is both wonderful news (if true) and terrible that she knows things and this could be bad.

Mostly because Obi-Wan is here in the city too.]

[ This is such a weird conversation. Rey shakes her head, raising her eyebrows. ]

I think you and I both know that's a terrible rule. Ben lives with me. If you come meet him, I'm sure you'll be able to tell he's your blood.

Whether I agree with it or not doesn't matter. I swore an oath. And that isn't to be taken lightly. I'd be kicked out of the order if I were to do something like that.

[He might have to go see this Ben though. But still, this conversation has set off all sorts of warning bells. If it's true he'll have to convince them to keep this knowledge from Obi-Wan]

[ Rey exhales, shrugging her shoulders. ]

From what I've heard of the old Jedi, that doesn't seem like it'd be a wholly terrible thing. But if you need some real proof that I am who I say I am, Ben is it. You can come to our house, or the shop. I know he'd like to meet you.

I'd be interested in meeting him. And I do want to see your shop either way.

[If it is true and they abolish the rule in the future ...]
