okay so
beyond moonlacing or whatever because we all have to do that and it doesn’t always mean anything

how many of you have someone or someones that you love, here

like real love or the closest thing you’ve felt to it anyway

and if you do are they from your home or are they from other worlds

and if they’re from other worlds
how are you going to

what are you going to do when one of you leaves

Savor what you have while you are here. When they or you leave, cherish what you had. Do not expect that you will fade from their heart the moment you are apart. Nor them from yours.

What makes you think we'd forget?

(( Well, that's disappointing. ))

All the more reason to enjoy what you have now. If it's to be forgotten in the future, we must live in the present.

I understand.
I, too, have found love in this strange place with someone not of my world. I toiled over the future and ultimately chose to accept what the present affords: happiness.

I like to believe fate brought us together.

You simply know.

I wish I could explain it more clearly. Finding love, fated or not, you just know. In the way your body just knows how to breathe. You feel it in the marrow of your bones. It brings joy and peace and sometimes pain.
