[Just a simple little post from username 'Bluemarine', but it's posted for everyone to see and the option to reply in any format you like is there, should you feel like it. Somebody sure has the burning desire to ask everyone a question (or piss off as many people as they can, depending).]

How many of you believe in an afterlife? Or...What I should ask is; how many of you understand that you're slaves to fate and destiny, no matter how unhappy yours might be?

You're welcome to try and change my mind on that front, if you think you have the intellect.

If those are the conditions for the truth, then I can tell you that all the world is a delusion of the people living in it. That’s reality. If there’s such a thing as “fate” in the universe, it is still being written.

...Really? Can I ask...Maybe not how you know this, since the implications are enough. If the world is a delusion, then what from? What is humanity doing while they dream?

They are simply living. To cope with living, they delude themselves. That isn’t a bad thing. Everyone has a reality they believe in.

It might be easier to show you what I mean, but I guess that’s not possible here.

I fear that showing me would probably be for the best, since I still have questions, but I wouldn't force you to do such a thing anyway. It sounds as though you didn't exactly relish the experience.

Then again, we're all somewhat aware of our own reality being a delusion, so I shouldn't be surprised or confused at all. The simple matter of our uniqueness makes it so. Thank you for humouring me, however; I'm genuinely glad to have had your input on this matter.

I’m glad you brought it up. It’s something I’ve been trying to consider lately. People are all so different.

But maybe that much is obvious, without any other input. I’m sure just as many people agreed with you as they did argue.

They are! And with truth and reality all so subjective, I thought that asking these sorts of questions would get me knowledge that no book could; definitely, people have been willing to engage me more often than they want to argue pointblank. I'm grateful for that, and for every conversation I've had which has taught me something about how different worlds work.

One world has a flow of life and destiny, and if one rejects their fate completely, they're kept from this flow. It's a natural fact, but so fascinating to me because that's not something I'm used to hearing. I hope that you get to learn as I do from the dearth of knowledge and experience here, I truly do!
