Sermon #1 - text
[Just a simple little post from username 'Bluemarine', but it's posted for everyone to see and the option to reply in any format you like is there, should you feel like it. Somebody sure has the burning desire to ask everyone a question (or piss off as many people as they can, depending).]
How many of you believe in an afterlife? Or...What I should ask is; how many of you understand that you're slaves to fate and destiny, no matter how unhappy yours might be?
You're welcome to try and change my mind on that front, if you think you have the intellect.

i stan these overenthusiastic goons and i would die for them, amen
No, not "amen"! It's NAMU!
They hold no sway over me and never will. Namu!
don't religion-shame the roman catholic priest he is doing his best
Can you tell me more about how the gods work, then? I haven't had the chance to study up on Shinto, and to hear from someone who practices would be far more interesting than to read dry words on a page.
Such a good little priest! He's forgiven!
All is forgiven in he eyes of gods and men both. You've offended no one! If thou seeketh knowledge, then I propose we meet beyond the cumbersome fixtures of these paltry devices.
I hold no fondness for the oddities of this realm. They are...unnatural.
does that mean he gets to choke someone out later or
Tell me where you wish to meet, and I'll gladly do so. I'll be honest, however; you likely won't be seeing my face, but I'll be seeing yours. Are you still willing?
YES! /flashing text.gif
You shan't see my face either, friend. The need for secrecy is respected. Namu!
WONDERFUL. also: text to action hell yea
[And so Pucci signs out, switches back to his actual username to keep from identifying himself just in case; thankfully it's not so much of a slog to get to the grove proper, and it does him a world of good to see so much nature otherwise. He, however, doesn't go to the heart. He's strolling around, inhaling deeply and generally having a fantastic time! But somebody else goes in his stead, because Pucci is a lot of things but he's not a ghoster; Whitesnake sits politely on a bench right in the guts of the grove and waits, humming idly.
Which means that there's a disembodied humming for Yoshimitsu to hear, and should he try to sit on Whitesnake, he'll sit on something solid that will absolutely shove him away without any restraint. Ah, the joys of being invisible and sentient while your user is having the time of his life inspecting the flora.]
action~! stage right
'Tis I, Yoshimitsu---Eh?
[His introduction is cut short when he realizes no one is here.]
What's this? [He lets out a confused hum.] Did he not arrive yet?
[The ninja whips his head around in confusion, clearly in search of this person he spoken to online. Of course Yoshimitsu is oblivious to the dangers of meeting someone off the Network all willy-nilly. He can take care of himself. Yoshimitsu is a ninja after all but for others, he wouldn't advise doing this.]
What a shame! I had hoped for a vigorous meeting of the minds.
[Just when he mumbles that, Yoshimitsu notices that odd...humming sound. ]
Eh? [He clutches the hilt of the Manji blade tighter within his wooden hand.] Something is afoot.

[Whitesnake crosses its legs, if only to scuff the ground enough that Yoshimitsu can tell something's here. And also because it's a depressed thot like Pucci, but that's where we're at in life.] Sit, stand, do as you like. It's not like you can trace me back, so I don't care...
I'm just here so that you'll tell me about your cobbled-together beliefs. Is your Shintoism something you cling to out of habit, or sentimentality for your youth?
[THIS IS NOT HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS, WHITESNAKE. At least the youthful Southern drawl that it uses is only mildly bored-sounding, and that's out of habit for it more than any actual opinion it has on the subject of beliefs outside its own. Another shift, this time leaning forward to link its hands between its knees, before it whistles impatiently.] Over on this bench, by the way.
no subject
[Wait a minute! What's with the disembodied voice? Honestly, Yoshimitsu is a little surprised! He just assumed he was the only one to possess such unique talents here but apparently not.]
What a curious meeting this is! You're completely invisible to the naked eye but I can hear you humming as loud as day.
[A boisterous chuckle escapes the quirky ninja as he hops onto the bench. He has a general sense as to where this mystical being is sitting, so thankfully Yoshimitsu doesn't squashes them.]
Now, now! No need to be so cheeky. [He warns with another chuckle.] You would do well to introduce yourself first before getting into the nitty gritty of it all.
no subject
[Hm. That's definitely not a word it's ever heard to describe itself, that's for sure. Whitesnake watches impassively as Yoshimitsu sits beside it, before leaning back on the bench and tipping its head back to look up at the canopy overhead. Cheeky. It'll have to ask Pucci about that later.]
You can't see me, no; you have to be special to do that. You can call me Bluemarine; that'll do fine. Now will you tell me about the circumstances behind your change in religious stance, or am I going to have to leap through more social hoops to unlock whatever you wanted to tell us?
[Sure, it's curious. It's even curious about Yoshimitsu's outfit, about his pose, rifling through the collective database in Pucci's brain to see if he has anything on what that could possibly be--] --Kabuki. You like it. They'll want to hear about that later.
