Sermon #1 - text

[Just a simple little post from username 'Bluemarine', but it's posted for everyone to see and the option to reply in any format you like is there, should you feel like it. Somebody sure has the burning desire to ask everyone a question (or piss off as many people as they can, depending).]

How many of you believe in an afterlife? Or...What I should ask is; how many of you understand that you're slaves to fate and destiny, no matter how unhappy yours might be?

You're welcome to try and change my mind on that front, if you think you have the intellect.
bloodisthicker: instrumentality hooooo (let's gendo ikari this shit)

That makes sense to me, I suppose. I can understand why people would be anxious about it, I suppose, but well. I doubt you can know your actual fate until it actually comes. Some people might try to tell you that they know your destiny, but unless they've got some sort of unambiguous ability to see the future, they really don't.
bloodisthicker: because that would be the worst (did i break a nail)

Well, then you’d have a fairly genuine reason to try and change your fate if you didn’t like it, wouldn’t you? It's just cruel otherwise.
bloodisthicker: could have bloodbended you all but i didn't (god i'm such a great guy)

True enough. I suppose you don't have to agree with me, but honestly, the world would be extremely boring if everyone had the same viewpoints. So it's fun to have these discussions from time to time.
