[ It took her a little bit to figure out how to post anonymously and she'll likely fail to keep it up, but she thought she'd try. ]
A recent survey posted to the network has me wondering how many here have been here for a little while and HAVEN'T done anything more beyond platonic physical contact. I only wish to know how long you've been here if so. You don't need to elaborate unless you want to.
One more query.
Say you have a crush on someone who isn't here. And not just a tiny little fluttering of something but it's so ridiculously INTENSE that it's like a magnetic force draws you to them any time they're around. BUT you find yourself having similar feelings to someone who IS here. Maybe it's not as intense but you do really like them and think about doing similar things with them as the person from home. Even though you've barely done any of those things with anyone let alone had a crush before.
What do you do? Do you hold out hope that maybe the crush will just go away or that your crush from home will show up? Do you go for it and hope it doesn't ruin everything? Especially if you're unsure if they have any of the same feelings or if they might already be with someone else.

If or when you leave this place, that is.

Still. It's time I'll never get back. Ever. No matter how much I make up for it.
Maybe a close second opinion might be a good idea? To...I don't know. Put everything in a wider scale.
no subject
Maybe? I don't have anyone to talk about this stuff with which I guess is why I've turned to the network.

[ trust time. does she offer or nah? ]
I could lend a listening ear. If you'd like.
Unbiased, too.
Probably a lot to put on a stranger, but I...well. I'm new here. Not like I'm doing much talking anyways.

Maybe?

Oh I meant
Just in general. As...a friend, I guess. Sorry, that sounded awfully familiar of me, I shouldn't have.
As someone who's not used to all this then? If that's any better?
[ Elsa: has no idea how to friends. ]
Actually, forget I mentioned it. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable.
no subject
Oh no, it's just not the kind of thing that's easy to talk about.
Most everything else is fine to talk about though. So you don't need to worry, you didn't make me uncomfortable.

Still, I think I'd better refrain from putting my foot in my mouth any more.
I hope everything works out for you, though.
You sound really kind, I'm sure that whoever you choose will be lucky to have you.

It would be nice for it all to work out. [ But she's not sure it will. ]
