Good afternoon. My name is Japan-- [ a slight waver there; it still feels a little strange to introduce himself this way to strangers. ] --and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I've chosen to address the network largely for the purpose of asking advice, which I suppose is a time-honored tradition among internet users. As there's no Twitter here to turn to, well.. [ he trails off, then spreads his hands in a small shrug.

anyway. ] As a nation, my government has generally provided for me for quite some time. I do a fair amount of volunteer work, but well.. it's not the same thing as holding employment. Particularly not on another planet. [ a beat. right, get to the point. ] I would like to work for [ er. ] one of the moonblessed? If possible, that is. I've heard that there are some few that may be opening businesses of their own. If not.. it would be nice to hear about where you're working. If you are, that is. Perhaps it will give me some ideas.

[ he sighs, shoulders dropping slightly. ] Though.. I'm not eager to begin just yet. It's been quite a long week, hasn't it? With the dragons, that is. [ a beat, then he perks up slightly. ] As the little ones have been returned to their parents now, though, if you have photos that you'd like to share, I'd like to see them. The dragonlings that I saw over the last few days were all very unique. It's interesting, how they took on traits of us. Don't you think?

[ oh.. ] A cat cafe would be so relaxing.. Or perhaps it could be a bunny cafe. But you're right, that does take capital, which is somewhat difficult for me, given that I'm not especially physically affectionate. [ well, there's his odas, of course. and italy. but it applies in general.

but warmth blooms in his chest as he reads the rest of the message, hopelessly fond. for as confusing and alarming as italy's been at times in his past, he does love him. ]

yeah i guess that makes it difficult to gain a lot of chroma
you know you could always start sleeping with me and germany again
i think we generate a lot from sharing the bed at night

ive also had a thought about opening something up after talking to someone
there has been a lot of drafting and consideration
but idk about gaining enough to actually build and open it
im not quite as popular as america in that regard

im glad to make you proud
i always like learning about cooking new things
and learning to make your food has been some of the most exciting ventures
i also got a chance to make indian style curry with arjuna lately
he was more than willing to indulge me which was great

It would be. And a pleasant retreat from some of the more overwhelming aspects of the city, I think. Perhaps when I've managed to save enough, it's something to consider.

People are going to get the wrong idea from reading that.. [ he's not sleeping with sleeping with them. though he supposes if he were going to do that with anyone else in the city, well..

You and America-san have different kinds of appeal. If you wish to open a business, you should. After all, your culture has influenced so much of the world, it's only a matter of time before you're able to do so here as well.

As you know, I'm quite a fan of curry. Perhaps you'll have to show me what you've learned from this Arjuna-san.

Well.. I think that 'sleeping with' takes on certain connotations here, doesn't it? I wouldn't want to contribute to some sort of rumor. And I think that it's more that Germany-san can't deny you..?

You're not the type of person to use someone, so you shouldn't give it further thought or concern. Anyone that takes even a short time to get to know you will understand that immediately.

Perhaps I'll have to stop and speak to him sometime, then. I would like to know your friends here.
