So, I heard today is Mother's day. Question and advice.

How to...how do you honor your mother? What should I do? I was thinking of getting flowers.

It's neither! I heard it from the other Moonblessed at the market today.

In my world, a mother is always highly revered and I've been taught by my elders to pay respects and thanks to my parents.

I'm sure your mother would appreciate any gesture in her honor.

I wouldn't know how to honor mine, but flowers might be a good start.

My father recommends incense to go with the flowers as an offering. It's a tradition to light it up and then give prayer and thanks to the dead.

How long ago did she pass away?
