So, I heard today is Mother's day. Question and advice.
How to...how do you honor your mother? What should I do? I was thinking of getting flowers.

But I was adopted and I have two versions of my parents in this world, so that makes it a total of four in this world.

[Uhh... well alright then...]
I guess flowers, or whatever food they like is good enough in that case.

This world brings in parallel versions of the person from different universes. My families don't know much about the subject, but it happens. I even met my own double of myself. It's surreal, but we become brothers.
That's a good suggestion! What kind of food do you recommend?

[Danny hopes he never runs into a double of himself here... because they would both more than likely immediately attempt to kill each other, honestly.]
Well, what kind of food do they like?

It is surreal, but this world opens my eyes to that.
Huh, well I guess I should ask them that. We mostly eat Chinese food.

Is there a type of Chinese dish that you don't eat as often that you would be willing to spend the extra money for, if it's an expense issue? Or maybe something that you don't make as often due to the amount of work it takes, but would be willing to put in the effort for that they would like the opportunity to try eating, perhaps?

Expense is not an issue, but I don't eat meat...and nothing come to mind other than Cesar salad and cold soba noodles. I come from a family of vegetarians. It can be a strict diet that is linked to keep a healthy body for our cultivation techniques, which is linked to our spiritual powers.
Speaking of dishes, I think the dish that I would never eat, that comes to mind is shark-fin soup. I don't know how such a dish can be expensive. But among the nobles from where I'm from, the types who can afford it, it's a delicacy.
Anyways, I'm rambling! I think my fathers would appreciate anything I can come up with. It's the thought that counts.

And you're right, it is the thought that counts. As such, I would not worry about what you should do for the occasion.
