Ah, but yes. They are similar to a phone, but they are also more or less actually shells! You see, the shells create linkpearls, which you can distribute to whomever you would like to communicate with. Everyone with a matching item is able to send and receive messages within the linkshell.

Ahh yes, we have airships and other such technologies. I suspect much of our world is also a bit of magic and technology mixed together.

I. I know that. But other people they...they don't really understand it, my phobia,...so it makes them awkward and difficult to really deal with. It just makes things strained and I'm used to being alone and left out of things! So...it's not really strange if people don't want to do things with me.

I hate to say it, but I understand that others have a hard time accepting things that are different.

We do not have "electricity" in my world, so the technology here is vastly different, but each unique in their own useful ways.
