Hello, everyone! It's been a while since my last "post", I feel like there's probably so many new people here now...

My name is Konoha... If you don't know me yet, I'm a jinba... Or a "centaur" if you want! ... I'm from Tateyama in Japan, but lots of people say I'm from the past or that jinba don't exist, so I guess that's not very helpful? Anyway-

[She twirls the camera around, giving a panoramic view of the bucolic Tsurugi Farmstead and a large palomino centaur working in one of the fields before coming back to her face after she accidentally focuses on her front hooves.]


My husband and I run Tsurugi Farmstead in the Greatmoon Groves, and we're hoping to hire a few more extra hands to help out during harvests and planting! Which, um... Happens way more than I'm used to in my world, so...

[No one point out why that might be...]

You don't have to have experience farming, but you do need to be willing to work hard. It's not easy to work the earth, you know! It wouldn't be an every day sort of job, just a few days here and there throughout the month, but we pay in chroma money at the end of each day. And on days you work, you can take home a small basket of the harvest for yourself, and I'll provide lunch for free!

I guess I should use this chance to say that we also deliver, if you're looking for fresh vegetables and rice for yourself or your own business! Or you can find us on weekends at the green market... Wait, I feel like I'm forgetting something... Oh!

[As if remembering, she pulls out a piece of paper from the bear pelt tied around her "waist", checking it with a squint. Right-]

Also, my neighbors said I should mention that everything we grow here is... "organic". Apparently that's popular!

Just Persephone is fine. [ She doesn't mind the mispronunciation so much, she knows her name can be a bit of a mouthful for people. Being called 'miss' though, well, she doesn't think that's entirely necessary. ]

Before I moved and then ended up here, yes.

[Now that she's heard her say it, she'll at least endeavor to get it right from now on, she promises!!]

I meet lots of people here who come from really strange and big cities... It's nice to meet someone else from some place like me! What kind of countryside was it? My village is in a valley between the mountains.

Really? I grew up in a rather secluded valley in Sicily where we were hidden from mortals.

I wasn't allowed to see the ocean. Something about my mother being afraid that Poseidon would see me and, I don't know, steal me away?

So I hadn't seen it until recently.

[ There's a soft, stifled laugh from her end. ]

Yes, it's real. My mother is the Goddess of the Harvest so our abilities are pretty similar. Which, um, means I could try to bless your fields. I don't know how effective I'll be with how little Chroma I manage to maintain.

I apologize for speaking so casually to you before! And for using text when I’m not good at it! I didn’t know you were a real goddess, I swear!

Oh no! It's perfectly fine. My goddesshood really doesn't mean much in this place so you needn't worry so.

I-I'm just a minor goddess and I'm not very powerful, you really don't need to go through all the trouble.

I don't have a shrine, I don't think that's really necessary here.

B- but, spring is so important... My village makes so many offerings to Princess Sakuya every year...

Spring happened before I came along, my mother had seen to that.

Mama raised me to work hard rather than take handouts. It might be an offering but it's not necessary, I'm perfectly happy to work for Chroma and any vegetables I'm allowed to take home.

[lumberlady]

[Is that how things work? Did seasons happen before the gods?]

If it's vegetables you want, you can have them! Or chroma, that is okay, too! Do we need to prepare anything for the blessing?

I don't know how Sicily gods do things...

I just have to be in the field, nothing more.

I'll be honest, I've never blessed fields like my mother. I've only watched her do it so I'm not sure how well it'll go but I really want to try and be helpful.

That is one way. I can also do blessings as I'm planting seeds or starters.
