Hello, everyone! It's been a while since my last "post", I feel like there's probably so many new people here now...

My name is Konoha... If you don't know me yet, I'm a jinba... Or a "centaur" if you want! ... I'm from Tateyama in Japan, but lots of people say I'm from the past or that jinba don't exist, so I guess that's not very helpful? Anyway-

[She twirls the camera around, giving a panoramic view of the bucolic Tsurugi Farmstead and a large palomino centaur working in one of the fields before coming back to her face after she accidentally focuses on her front hooves.]


My husband and I run Tsurugi Farmstead in the Greatmoon Groves, and we're hoping to hire a few more extra hands to help out during harvests and planting! Which, um... Happens way more than I'm used to in my world, so...

[No one point out why that might be...]

You don't have to have experience farming, but you do need to be willing to work hard. It's not easy to work the earth, you know! It wouldn't be an every day sort of job, just a few days here and there throughout the month, but we pay in chroma money at the end of each day. And on days you work, you can take home a small basket of the harvest for yourself, and I'll provide lunch for free!

I guess I should use this chance to say that we also deliver, if you're looking for fresh vegetables and rice for yourself or your own business! Or you can find us on weekends at the green market... Wait, I feel like I'm forgetting something... Oh!

[As if remembering, she pulls out a piece of paper from the bear pelt tied around her "waist", checking it with a squint. Right-]

Also, my neighbors said I should mention that everything we grow here is... "organic". Apparently that's popular!

Mm, Rio was chosen by an Inugami, and the god he serves as a priest for is pretty fond of him too as far as I can tell. Or should be, since more people show up to services when he's leading them.

[ He also wants to know where the shinto priests are, but frankly, he has a weird not-christianity back home too that he's curious about since it's infiltrated the country and no one here speaks of anything like it.

No priests of any kind is really weird...

He shakes his head. ]

Let me know if you want something like a rain blessing? I wouldn't say my prayers can reach anyone but Shi Qingxuan or Xie Lian here, but Murasame and I can do that much.

I... I guess I can ask Shi Qingxuan by myself now! I met him!

I don't know how Yatsufusa came around... he's really old, and Rio hasn't said. Neither has Murasame.

[ It's logical that your demon bird might call out how old someone he's faced off with before is, but the truth is also: why would the demon care? He accepts Yatsufusa's presence as long as he's not actively threatening his host. ]

You did? That's great! He's sometimes in female form when out and around, but he'll respond either way.

Mm, only the one, but he's really big and his tail is really fluffy. I napped on him once... usually he's picking me up by my shirt or trying to bite me.

[ So nonchalant as he says this. In fact he sounds happy, since the first half does make overjoyed. Not that much happens to be remembered. He'd been sleeping, after all. ]

Shi Qingxuan is a man, or she's a woman. It has something to do with how people worship him, if I'm remembering... he's been a man since birth, but then people started worshipping him as a her, so he's a her when he wants to be extra strong or feel extra beautiful. His believers gave him power, even accidentally like that.

He does sound fluffy... He's big enough to nap on? Like even bigger than those big bear hunting dogs from up north?

He's about the size of a... what's that thing called, a bus?

[ At that... he outright grins. ]

Yeah. Yeah they can. I mean, humans can do a whole lot of things, but belief and the thoughts and emotions of humanity definitely shape things even on my world.

Oh... That’s really big. Not as big as Lord Sesshomaru, but. Way bigger than I like my dogs to be...

In Shino’s world, too? I don’t think mine works that way...

I've seen him but not that big. No fair...

[ He's... he's pouting just a touch, because he in fact loves large dogs. All dogs? Look, dogs he can be around are short in supply. ]

Mm, that's what Murasame says. How similar or not it is for your home is hard to say, I'd have to talk with some of the local gods or demons to really know.

Oh, no, I've never seen that side of him either... We were in a clearing in the Groves, and he said the clearing was too small...

We worship the gods, and believe in spirits, but... I don't know anyone who's ever... really seen one. Not really... And I've never heard of one changing for humans... Just the other way around.

How was it too small?! Just how fat is he?!

[ Fat. Not Big. He's seen some big gods, okay, it makes no sense that he can't fit at all!? Fat also isn't the right word but look, he's caught by surprise! ]

It's not so common or anything, but I've seen it personally now more than a handful of times. Is it really surprising? Humans and jinba both must be able to change... why would the gods and spirits they worship and believe in not, too?

[Sorry, more theoretical and difficult thoughts about gods, but. Her mind is stuck on the idea of Lord Sesshomaru being fat.]

How else couldn't he fit?!

I guess he and Murasame might be similar sizes... it's just I'm used to even the biggest gods being able to fit in smaller places without uprooting everything.

Maybe bigger? I don't know what his full form is like, honestly.

[Look, she always kind of thought of him as more like Shino’s familiar, which... seem more normal animal sized in her mind for some reason!!!]

Maybe bigger... He’d blot out the sun!

Only if you're standing around him? Or near him... or he's between you and the sun?

[ He's tapping his chin trying to figure this out. ]

I wonder if he'd summon clouds so you couldn't see the sun anyway...
