[Lunatia's resident centaur lady is back on screen, starting out her post with her customary bow and smile.]

Hello, everyone! It's been a while since my last "post", I feel like there's probably so many new people here now...

My name is Konoha... If you don't know me yet, I'm a jinba... Or a "centaur" if you want! ... I'm from Tateyama in Japan, but lots of people say I'm from the past or that jinba don't exist, so I guess that's not very helpful? Anyway-

[She twirls the camera around, giving a panoramic view of the bucolic Tsurugi Farmstead and a large palomino centaur working in one of the fields before coming back to her face after she accidentally focuses on her front hooves.]


My husband and I run Tsurugi Farmstead in the Greatmoon Groves, and we're hoping to hire a few more extra hands to help out during harvests and planting! Which, um... Happens way more than I'm used to in my world, so...

[No one point out why that might be...]

You don't have to have experience farming, but you do need to be willing to work hard. It's not easy to work the earth, you know! It wouldn't be an every day sort of job, just a few days here and there throughout the month, but we pay in chroma money at the end of each day. And on days you work, you can take home a small basket of the harvest for yourself, and I'll provide lunch for free!

I guess I should use this chance to say that we also deliver, if you're looking for fresh vegetables and rice for yourself or your own business! Or you can find us on weekends at the green market... Wait, I feel like I'm forgetting something... Oh!

[As if remembering, she pulls out a piece of paper from the bear pelt tied around her "waist", checking it with a squint. Right-]

Also, my neighbors said I should mention that everything we grow here is... "organic". Apparently that's popular!

I guess I am? I've certainly never heard the word in my world, but most everyone here knows it, so... I'll take it, I suppose.

[It sounds weird to her still, though. "Centaur".]

Really? What crops are you used to?

That's what you'd be called where I'm from.

[Though she would absolutely be from one of the peaceful tribes. As startling as it still is for Ana to see ones that aren't violent and hellbent on murdering humans it's only because she was raised believing they were the only kind for most of her life.]

Kryta mostly grows the basic food crops. Potatoes, lettuce, carrots, beets, some herbs...

We also raised livestock as well.

Oh- There are really jinba where you're from? Not just stories? Lots of people here say we're just legends!

[Which is... weird, to be honest! Like being told the craftsmen in town was a myth.]

We don't have any livestock beyond a few chickens, but if you have have experience it's always a plus. Do you mind that the work is only a few days a month? My husband and I handle most things ourselves, we just need extra hands during the harvest and planting.

[Which, thanks to chroma, comes a bit more often than natural.]

Legend... means something different where I'm from, but yes, centaur do exist. Unfortunately most are incredibly hostile, but I've had the luck of meeting some of the peaceful tribes and even working together with them.

[It hasn't helped her knee-jerk reaction to seeing one still, but she has gotten better about not immediately panicking.]

I could help with the chickens as well. I don't mind that it's not constant. I just need more things to occupy my time and this is right there with what I grew up doing.

Unfortunately, to humans. It's been that way for decades. Probably longer. I didn't even learn about the peaceful tribes until I was an adult.

[But that's a depressing topic. She'll answer any further questions, of course, but she'd rather not linger on it.]

Ah... I'm sure something must have happened...

[Konoha is a bit conflicted. Instinctively she wants to defend these other jinba people, knowing her own race's complicated history with humans, but... She probably shouldn't. It's not her world, she doesn't know...]

Likely, but it's not a history I've been privy to...

[Even if she was in the Priory there was a high chance even they didn't know why there was a split among the centaur tribes., or why the more peaceful tribes were regulated to such out of the way areas.]

[As much as she feels a bit inclined to species solidarity, she knows just as well she shouldn't assume things based on race...]
