[Lunatia's resident centaur lady is back on screen, starting out her post with her customary bow and smile.]

Hello, everyone! It's been a while since my last "post", I feel like there's probably so many new people here now...

My name is Konoha... If you don't know me yet, I'm a jinba... Or a "centaur" if you want! ... I'm from Tateyama in Japan, but lots of people say I'm from the past or that jinba don't exist, so I guess that's not very helpful? Anyway-

[She twirls the camera around, giving a panoramic view of the bucolic Tsurugi Farmstead and a large palomino centaur working in one of the fields before coming back to her face after she accidentally focuses on her front hooves.]


My husband and I run Tsurugi Farmstead in the Greatmoon Groves, and we're hoping to hire a few more extra hands to help out during harvests and planting! Which, um... Happens way more than I'm used to in my world, so...

[No one point out why that might be...]

You don't have to have experience farming, but you do need to be willing to work hard. It's not easy to work the earth, you know! It wouldn't be an every day sort of job, just a few days here and there throughout the month, but we pay in chroma money at the end of each day. And on days you work, you can take home a small basket of the harvest for yourself, and I'll provide lunch for free!

I guess I should use this chance to say that we also deliver, if you're looking for fresh vegetables and rice for yourself or your own business! Or you can find us on weekends at the green market... Wait, I feel like I'm forgetting something... Oh!

[As if remembering, she pulls out a piece of paper from the bear pelt tied around her "waist", checking it with a squint. Right-]

Also, my neighbors said I should mention that everything we grow here is... "organic". Apparently that's popular!

[She's still chewing (politely!!) as Konoha talks, because she has a strange habit of sometimes taking bites that are much too large for her mouth to handle at times. It could be a nervous habit, a tick of the usual nervousness that naturally encompasses a small rabbit body, or just emblematic of the kind of girl she is.

Someone small who takes on things that seem much too large for her. And, honestly, she's not feeling nervous at all. In fact, it's incredibly peaceful talking to a fellow female, about anything. Be it their work or boyfriend-- husband, in Konoha's case-- troubles.

Or...petty annoyances.]

Jeeze...strong, silent, and stubborn. [and it's a good thing she does swallow her food before the mention of stripping as a means of confessing. Haru does snort though, hand to mouth as she coughs.]

Y-you what? That's a bit dramatic! [an ear flick, and she thinks back to the technically-second-time she met Legosi and...well, she can't talk about taking clothes off in front of a male unprompted.

But! Situations are different!] D-did he take you up on that offer?

[stuttering to keep in her laughter, as she hides her mirth a bit behind the rim of her cup.]

Honestly...I wouldn't be surprised if Legosi does wind up in a situation where he could possibly die on a mountain. He's not trying to die at all, but I think because he's a large carnivore he does things where he doesn't think about possibly dying. [a bit more seriously, unintentional, but it just feels...so nice to finally be able to talk to someone in this way?] I feel like large and strong males sometimes don't think much about their own safety, which bothers me because I can't really help.

[Look, after all the things Konoha has done in her life, she's the last person who can judge a woman for biting off more than she chew. Or put in her mouth.]

Yeah, all three...

[Yet even as she tries to complain that her husband is strong, silent, and stubborn... the tone of her voice sounds like she might as well be saying "strong, handsome, and protective". Something that would explain why she doesn't actually look truly angry.

She manages to blush a bit for her own antics, though. Dramatic... !]

W- Well, he married me, so...

[He did take her up on it. Technically they hadn't made it to the mountains yet, since they'd been pulled to Lunatia, but she's counting it. And she can't just let Haru thinks she strips for fun or anything-]

But- But the skirt thing, that was just because... I wanted to prove I could be like a mountain jinba! Gonta told me that they don't wear any clothes on their lower halves, like we do in the human villages, so... I don't know it just seemed like... it would prove something...

[Look, it worked, and that's what counted! What Haru says about Legosi though...]

I get what you mean... I think when men are big and strong and they're raised right... They get it in their heads that they have to be the protector. And that's good and all, I mean... if Gonta hadn't protected me I'd probably be dead, but... you worry, right?

[Her fingers curl around her tea cup, pushing down the reminder of that terrifying moment to focus on Haru instead.]

Is there really nothing you can do? Even if we can't fight or whatever... I think there are things we can do.

[By the "offer" Haru meant more on...the whole being "made into a woman of the mountains" idea which, to her, is a lot less matrimonial and much more carnal. But she hums in acknowledgement as she continues to drink her tea, the temperature a lot better now with time.]

So that's why he doesn't wear pants, huh? [Less an actual question, more just conversational observation.] At least you put thought into your proposal...

[Her voice trails off. And she's quiet as Konoha continues, gaze going from the jinba back down to the hearth. It's not normal for a prey animal to continuously hold another's gaze for all that long, unless the animal in front of them feels dangerous. It's another sign of her comfort here, one she doesn't think much on but simply just does.]

Mm...I do worry. Legosi is the reason why I'm still alive, but he always seems to find himself in really scary and dangerous situations. And I never find out about them until after they happen.

[It's frustrating. Doubly so when he acts so distant in the interim.]

I don't know what I can do when he gets that way, except just promise to stay strong and wait which still feels like I'm not doing much. [She's definitely grown as a person, come to understand what it means when another tries to see things on her level, but even still...] I'm just a rabbit. You may not be able to fight either, but you're still strong even compared to me.

Horses are really strong herbivores where I'm from, and you have sharp teeth too so you're a carnivore on top of all that. [Again, observational. Conversational. Though her inner thoughts are telling her to stop short, that maybe she's putting her foot in her mouth again.] My body isn't like that. I'm small for my species with a body made to die.

[Look, if they got married, they... got carnal, okay! She's just not sure if she can call herself a woman of the mountains properly until she actually lives in the mountains, even if she's, um. Had. A man of the mountains.]

Yeah... They don't think about clothes like humans do out there...

[So that's why! It's normal... It's okay... But it isn't okay for their men to run around being foolish like they sometimes do! (Apparently, like Legosi was doing way more than Gonta was doing.) Unconsciously, Konoha leans a bit more towards Haru, lowering the curve of her upper spine to bring her a bit more on the same height as she listens, brow furrowing in concern.]

Haru isn't just a rabbit... Haru is just a rabbit!

[Okay, that might make more emotional sense than actual sense, but that was Konoha's first reaction, shaking her head to deny the more negative things the other young woman was saying about herself.]

And you aren't made to die anymore than any other person!

[She understands that Haru is referring to the divided... herbivore and carnivore thing that her world seemed to go by, she's heard bits and pieces from her, from Louis, from Legosi, from Juno... But she may not fully realize how deep things go. Either way, she can't accept it. Especially not here, when they had a chance to see something different.]

You just have to find a way to get through to Legosi and make him understand that just because he wants to protect you... He can't do that if he's always away doing dangerous things!
