[ The voice in the recording sounds unsure if he's really being recorded. He's not unfamiliar with technology, but he hasn't really interacted with it ever. It's a raspy, quiet tone: Similar to his brother's, but more monotonous. ]

If I wanted... a chess board... how do I find one?

Is that another thing that you 'buy'? For the fruit... I needed to buy it... but before, the nurses brought us the board and pieces.

I want to play with my little brother again. Like that time.

[ He must not drop the creature. He Must Not Drop It.

He freezes up at the bark and stares down at Merlin, wide-eyed. What is that? What is it doing? What does it mean?

He only raises his eyes to look for Midorima. Oh. The board is set up.

Sinistra walks over, slow and stiff, still holding the dog in his arms, having no idea what to do with it. He looks at his designated seat, then at the dog, then at Midorima, helpless. ]

[accurately]

[ Midorima gives him a look for a moment, wondering if he intends to play with Merlin on his lap. But Midorima has rules.]

Dogs aren't allowed at the table.

[bisection]

Ah... okay.

[ He bends over... veeeery carefully... and sets the dog down on his feet before shuffling to the table. He never takes his eyes off of Merlin, anxious and vigilant. ]

[accurately]

[ Merlin seems to decide that this guy is very nervous and therefore needs comfort, so once he's down, he runs to sit between his feet. He's helping.

Midorima watches him for a moment as if trying to decide if he's going to be any use in this match, but he already said he would play it. ]
