What is your favorite number?
There are wrong answers.
There are wrong answers.

I used to be fond of the number 5, but now I wonder if the number 1 is more suitable to call as a "favorite", the more I think about it.
... However, before I give any reasons as to why, I'd like to confirm what your favorite number is in exchange. Your username may be "333" but I don't want to make any hasty assumptions that it's your favorite number, when it could easily be 3 or 33.

Oh, of course. I don't mind telling you what it is.
You're very kind.
Thank you for not making hasty assumptions about me. :)
My favorite number is 3.

Then I can judge the number you've picked.

... But then I thought about it further, and realized that it might not be my favorite. It's a nice number, but it's not interesting for me to really spend time thinking about. Just a fleeting thought of sentimentality before it gets dismissed by other thoughts on the mind. So I considered it some more, and upon thinking of the number 1, I realized that there was something much more interesting about that number in particular worth the time thinking about by comparison to any other that tried to come to mind.

I'll give my analysis of your two answers, then, Doctor.
5 is a very lewd and sexual number. It's very, very lewd of you to choose it.
1 is an exceptionally lonely number. It's a number of someone that is waiting for someone else to join, but not yet making the first step forward for fear of being misunderstood and only adding to someone else's thus losing its individuality.
These numbers are not wrong answers, though, congratulations!

[There's an implication in his words that it's not necessarily the interpretation Danny had for the number 1, but he doesn't seem to be forthcoming with what it was he actually thinks of it just yet.]
That's the first I've heard of someone seeing the number 5 as a lewd choice, though. Do you mind explaining that judgement further for me?
no subject
Hm, that's an interesting way to put it -- that the answer I gave is normal.
I'm rarely ever called that, and so I can't help but be a little happy that you think of me that way.
... thank you.
I would be more than happy to tell you why it is so lewd.
But that would be playing into your hands.
How much do you want to sext me?
HA HA HA HA

Are you insinuating that it is I who want to sext?
With numbers?
How filthy do you take me for?

[... But there's no doubt that Danny's finding amusement in this.]
1/2
He pauses as he thinks about to what "Doctor" had said about 1. He wonders about it. It sounds like there might be more, but he's having fun. He has someone who said something very nice to him without knowing it. Saying that he gave a normal answer.
But being in person with him, Fukuda is more aware of his abnormalities and social awkwardness. Still. His smile softens a little, and he wonders if he can be friends with these people. To actually have a connection.
...That would be nice. ]

Ruining a numbers-loving person like myself's good name!
no subject
Oh my, really? But how can I possibly ruin your good name when you haven't even told me what it is yet?
no subject
It's Tamotsu Fukuda. Fukuda.
Now you know whose name you're ruining. ;A; ;A; ;A;!!!!

My name is Dr. Daniel Dickens, but you're welcome to call me Danny if you want. Most people seem to like doing so, anyway.
no subject
So, you actually are a doctor! What's your specialty, Dr. Dickens? [ He'd like to call him 'Danny,' but. Hm. Awkward numbers man is awkward and wants to ... be respectful to someone. ]

[A jack of all trades, so to speak, with therapy work being his primary field... along with one other thing, but that "other thing" isn't necessarily something he's technically licensed for...]
no subject
Still. Psychiatric care, huh?
Do you have a large patient load?
no subject
no subject
That is good.
You would think that might not be the case in an alien world.
[ ......................
He is enjoying this conversation, but if he asks to be a patient... he might not be able to be a friend. ]
I'm pleased to hear it, Doctor~!
no subject
Indeed! Of course, I suppose it's possible that there are people who really need it here but are refusing to seek help... but you also can't just force those people to seek out therapy if they don't want it.
Regardless, I at least have the offer out there for those looking for it, which I believe is better than nothing.
no subject
There is a stigma that people sometimes carry with themselves, haha.
But I'm hopeful that those that need it will come to you.
I'm sure that it is.
no subject
You still haven't given me an explanation in regards to the number 5, but I suppose I can let it go for now. Would you be interested then in telling me why the number 3 is your favorite instead?
no subject
[ Hm. Did that come off as desperate? He wonders. ]
Three is just the perfect number. Three wishes. Three guesses. Body-Mind-Spirit. A whole family. A triangle. Haha, it is just too perfect.
