[ This is something Persephone probably should have done a few months ago.

There is a very pink young woman on the screen. She gives a sheepish little wave as she smiles.

] Hello, my name is Persephone and I'm the Goddess of Spring back home. Yes, I'm an actual goddess, it's not just a title. Yes, I am as pink as I appear, I'm not sunburned. [ Her gaze drifts away from the camera as ticks off things that have been brought up to her. Her tone is cheerful. ] And yes, for the humans from various different versions of Earth, I am the Persephone of Greek Myth. But the stories you know are wrong...to an extent. If you have any questions pertaining to that I'll do my best to answer them.

Also, you don't have to treat me special or anything just because I'm a goddess! I'm really normal aside from the fact I randomly grow flowers in my hair sometimes. [ It's really not that random. ]

A-anywho! I'm making this post for a reason beyond that. One, I'm curious if there are any other deities from other worlds here. I've met one and spoke with another, though I believe she's gone now. If you are a deity I'm curious how being here has affected your abilities. I-if you wish to share, that is!

For anyone else, I'd like to hear about the gods of your world. If you have them.

Oh, I see. In the instances of places that worship the Heavens, does that mean your temples have statues for each of the gods?

They don't have any statues. And I think it would be difficult to have a statue of every god even in the biggest cathedral.

I find it a little difficult to imagine a temple without statues. But I guess if it works and your gods don't mind...

Actually, now that I think about it that might be better.

Hm... As long as the people prayed to Heavens, it didn't matter.

But since you know how your temples look like, does that mean that you visited them?

Hermes has told me about them. They sound very large and beautifully crafted.

So visiting them is not something every god can do?

Ah... I'm sorry if I'm asking too many questions.

I'm sure they can, it's just that I haven't seen much of the Mortal Realm. Everything I've learned has come second hand from others.

Oh, I see.

So do gods of your world actually talk to humans? In mine, they very rarely did that. I know that the grim reaper Thanatos did, but that's about it.

We can interaction with mortals however we please...so long as it's within the bounds of our laws or we've gained permission to do so.

My mother didn't give me much of a chance to do so though. Before coming here I'd barely laid eyes upon a human.

I-its okay. I didn't have a lot of free time to go exploring anyway.

...Is being a goddess difficult? Did you have some tasks or jobs to do?

[ragingnature]

I think it depends on the goddess. Momma is usually busy with work not doing her godly duties.

My days were spent working in the fields, growing flowers, and studying. If I did have downtime it was usually spent with the flower nymphs picking berries and swimming.

I'm not sure how well that answers your question.

But if you don't mind me asking... did you have some kind of ruler? Like... a leader of gods? Or maybe everyone was equal?

Yeah. After Momma and the others overthrew the previous Titan ruler his sons divided all there was. Zeus took the skies and all below as his domain and crowned himself the King of the Gods. Poseidon took the oceans. And Hades was left with the Underworld.

They're kings of their own domains so they make their own laws there but they also answer to Zeus like the rest of us.

And I am sorry that I... can't really tell you much about the gods of my world... I can answer questions regarding the religion, if that would be of any help to you.

Just Persephone is okay.

I wouldn't even know where to begin when it comes to questions. It's all pretty foreign to me.

Um, maybe to make it easier I could tell you something about it first?

Okay, so... the main reason people pray to gods in my world is to repent for their sins and so that one day they could be reincarnated in Heavens.

[ragingnature]

They pray so they can be reborn in the Heavens? That's a little strange. No offense meant by that, of course.

[ She has to wonder if that's actually how things work there or if it's simply mortal belief. ]

It's okay. It's not actually possible... [He then quickly add:] Or at least this is what I think. But it is believed that the Heavens are a perfect place.

I see.

I guess if it's meant to be a perfect place it's also every expanding to hold all those that are reborn there?

Actually this is a good question. I would have to ask my friend, who is a priestess... [His expression falls.] ...but she's not here.

Oh. Well, I suppose it'll just be something we'll both have to wonder.

How many gods are there? You don't have to name them if it's too many, I'm just curious how large your pantheon is.
