[ The video starts with a blank screen and a muffled sound. The one operating it has yet to get used to such technology. After a little blackness, the screen focuses on the Firbolg. His skin is a sickly grey fuzz, drawn in around the cheeks, a little unhealthily thin but not gaunt. He smiles, both his eyes and the shock of mohawk hair are a very natural-looking pink. When he finally speaks, his voice is has a very low, relaxing timbre to it. ]
Oh, hey there. Is this on? Am I sending or however this works?
[ Turning his comm around a few times until he was back in the frame. ]
I eh, let's start again, shall we? My Name is Mister Clay, Caduceus Clay and I just wanted to offer my services to anyone in need really.
[ Oh God, he's not used to public speaking. This is kind of terrifying. ]
Well, healing magic is my forte, among other things. So, like, yea. If anyone needs any healing or their mind calmed, oh, I can also do that too, calm you. I'll uh, I'll be around and willing to help out. I've heard these moons do strange things to folk, wouldn't want anyone hurting when they don't need to.
[ He pauses for a long moment. Contemplating ending it there before finally adding. ]
Oh, um and, one more thing... If you've seen anything, anyone dying or dead around the place... Give me a shout? I'd really appreciate it, thanks.

[ Konoka has to think a little bit in response to his question. ]
Mmmm, well anyone can learn magic in my world, and I'm sure there are still better healers than me, but I'm the only one I know that can truly manifest my magic this way, this easily!
It's thanks to the artifact I got, really.

[ She seemed really sweet, he was sure people would flock to her if she tried to rally as many healers as she needed. He'd certainly join in with what she was doing for sure! ]
Yea, you eh, you mentioned that artefact before. What is it, exactly?
[ He's very curious! Most of his magic comes from the race of creature he is or from the Goddess he follows. He'd be fascinated to learn about this object that greatly improves her magic! ]

Anyway!
[ Konoka held up... a card. It's a picture of herself, in rather thick garb and looking notably younger than she does now. She's holding two fans, and there's text on the card that seems to be in Latin... well, if Latin exists where he comes from. ]
This is my artifact. Right now though, it's just a card with my picture on it, but when I say the magic words...
Adeat!
[ The card flashed brightly before becoming the two fans she was holding in the picture. ]
These fans let me heal any wound inflicted under a certain amount of time. The official count is three minutes, but I've been pushing that concept.

[ Smiling a little obliviously as he often did. Caduceus wasn't a worldly person, phrases and slang were lost on him but he did take things said to him in a literal sense. ]
Oh wow, that's real neat. Look at that, it's got you right in the middle.
[ It didn't matter what language it was written in, the firbolg couldn't really read all that well so it just looked like fancy words to him. When the actual fans appeared though, he was impressed and nodded with a kind smile. ]
Ah, I see. You can use conjurations to produce healing magic. Y'know, that's a really good idea.

Cool huh?
Abeat!
[ She turned the fans back into the card. ]
I can cast things the traditional way too, though I'm still in training.

[ Truly he was! He'd never seen healing magic where you used cards and fans and it was all so new and exciting! ]
Is it just the fans you keep in them their cards or can you keep other things in them too? I only ask because one friend of mine has a backpack that seems to be able to keep things in a kind of pocket dimension? The other keeps his stash in a clump of amber- Though he's a Wizard so there's probably loads more about it than I'm explaining.

However, this card is only for the fans. It's proof of a contract called a 'pactio', done in service of mages. The fans were made from it, so that--and possibly, a change of clothing depending on the ability--is the only thing it has.

[ Oh! So she's a mage, that's cool, he's only met a few mages and they mostly dealt in elemental magic rather than healing. ]
Well, I think it's really neat. We'll have to work together sometime, though let's hope that our skills arent actually Needed, that could be bad.

Put simply though, there's always those who need help, so I keep my eyes open.
Either way, we'll keep in touch!
