Apparently some places won't pierce the ears of people being influenced by Cordis. They wouldn't even listen when I told them I'd been considering it for a while.

So, since those places are stubborn, does anywhere know somewhere good to get your ears pierced?

Wouldn't I end up tasting whatever it was made of?

Not really. That is, I haven't noticed it in a long time.

Other ideas: eyebrow, lip, septum, most genital ones.

Eyebrow and lip were both on the list of types I was considering.

I don't know much of anything about genital piercings, though.

I didn't even know they were a thing people did before I got here.

Eyebrows are good. One of the surface piercings least likely to reject.

Really? Hadn't you ever heard of a Prince Albert before?

And I've seen a lot of nice designs for eyebrow bars and rings.

Even ear piercings are discouraged back where I'm from. I only vaguely knew about other kinds of facial piercings, and I'd never met anyone with one.

They're very nice. I recommend.

Huh. Must have been a very different part of Japan then. No one on Midorijima seemed to care outside of maybe staring at less common piercings.

And they'd be easy for a beginner to take care of?

I've never heard of that place. I'm from Tokyo, which is pretty harshly split between traditional and alternative fashion. Most people are hesitant about permanent modifications, though, since it's the traditional people who have more social power.

Very easy. Regular salt water rinse, don't move or play with it, don't sleep with it pressed against anything, etc.

It's a small island to the southwest of Kyushu. I don't expect most to know it unless they're from the 2030s or later.

Not moving it will be a struggle, but I've got a good bed for being able to sleep on my back even with wings and tails.

I'm from late 2016, so it's possible attitudes just changed by the time you're from. It's mostly the old assholes that care, anyway.

Pffft, 2016? I wasn't even born yet. WWII was like a century ago for me now.

By then, a lot of the people trying to insist on sticking to outdated tradition are probably dead.

Do they still treat illegitimate children like scum?

I see.

Couldn't tell you. I moved there only a few years ago.

Right.

I got distracted earlier. The Prince Albert is a well known dick piercing named after a prince who married Queen Victoria. Seems like guys back then in the 1820s would get piercings there in order to deal with super tight pants.

How did that work?

[zunge]

The pants had a hook on the inside of the leg. Guys with this piercing have a ring down there that goes through the urethra. They hook the ring on the hook to position the shaft into hanging comfortably. Something like that.

I guess that's one way to keep it from getting stuck in a painful position. Do people with that sort of piercing have to take it out every time they need to use a urinal?

[zunge]

No. It affects the stream a little, but practice and good jewelry choice compensate for that.

Does that also keep urine from getting into the hole while it's healing?

[zunge]

It should if you do it right. A pro piercer would be the better person to answer that. They get questions like these all the time.

I'm sure. It's probably one of the first things most people think of, when they start considering the idea.
