Apparently some places won't pierce the ears of people being influenced by Cordis. They wouldn't even listen when I told them I'd been considering it for a while.

So, since those places are stubborn, does anywhere know somewhere good to get your ears pierced?

Seriously, kid, it's literally one more night. Go back when it wears off. Besides, piercing fox ears would probably hurt a lot more - you have any idea how blessed thin they are compared to where humans usually get piercings done?

I've been nervous about actually getting it done, and Cordis helps quiet some anxiety. It's normally the best time to do things I find intimidating.

But apparently they won't let me.

They're not extra ears, they replace my normal ones.
Wouldn't holes put in them stay when they change back and forth?

Not always. I’d wait just to be sure. It’ll save you a potential second trip and a second payout for something you could have easily prevented.

I hadn't thought about the possibility that a piercing in fox ears might not translate well to my normal ears.

The moons do tend to impact people's emotions and decision making processes. It seems like it would be the more responsible thing to not do any piercings while a person is under their moon's influence.

It's not like this is an impulse decision, though. I just got caught up in overthinking things, and Cordis helps me get out of that.

More than likely, someone made a legal issue of it once, and they were found liable. If the issue is that the Cordis moon helps to give you more courage, then I suggest making an appointment with them after the Cordis moon passes, but schedule the appointment during the Cordis moon.

I've no idea where one could go for ear piercings, but perhaps you could get someone to do it for you? Admittedly, I've not pierced anyone's ears before, but if you could obtain the tools needed, I would be glad to try.

People have pointed out that it might be harder to position them on the fox ears so they'll still look good on my normal ears. I'm pretty sure the fox ears will be a lot less picky about earring placement, since less of them is covered by my hair.

Heat a needle in a flame, put a bit of cork against your ear, and get a friend to do it.

I thought there were special needles for it, that let you put the earring in without having to force it through the new hole.
