[She had expected as much but she didn't want to assume. When they expressed an interest she couldn't help but brighten up. A lot of what she knew she had learned from her parents, and cooking was something which always reminded her of those days spent under their instruction. To be bale to pass on what she knew would be a blessing.]

The dragons mostly eat meat which is something I never eat so I'm not as versed at cooking meat dishes, but I've done it before.

I thought they'd like some steak, so I got that. [Only a skirt steak since she wasn't sure she could manage anything more delicate than that.]
