[ She's gone from angry to trying to keep busy, at least, and Mayuzumi can't be the only one in their household working anyway so this time Emerald's trying to post her resume. Except she doesn't really have one. ]

Who is hiring?

Here are the things I like in a job:
-Customers don't mind if I am snarky or insulting to them
-I'm lowkey annoyed a lot so I have to take Sanguis moon off or I'll kill someone, so a flexible schedule
-Active movement is a plus
-People will be quiet if I have a headache, or in general, but at least when I have a headache

Absolute no's:
-"The customer is always right" attitudes
-I'm not going to pretend to be peppy and cheerful all the time
-Yoga instructor (already tried working on my zen, it didn't take)
-Library (the last one I tried to work in was destroyed on my starting day, I don't think it's meant to be)
-Prostitution
-Volunteer work
-Criminal activity probably

I can do some home cooking (a lot of tofu dishes, spicy foods, and outdoor cooking) and I know how to grow a couple of herb plants but I'm not a professional chef. I can fight. I'm learning to drive. Most of my skills aren't really [ legal/ethical ] marketable so that's my whole resume.

I suppose the point is knowing how they truly feel under the front they present. At least, I find this is so with some of my friends.

[ He had no idea why people liked to tease him so much until he gained or noticed friends having this same tendency. It all makes sense now, strange as it is. ]

Don't tell me you're into tsunderes too?

[ Wowie. Well, in a friendship kind of way anyway. ]

I like teasing people who can give as good as they get personally

I find them more than capable.

Provided they aren't flustered, at any rate.

Sounds like I need to get to know some of these people.

I'd be a terrible liar if I said Ayer couldn't fend for himself.

He's young, but he's strong and intelligent.

He is a member of the Grandcypher's crew, so it isn't surprising that he'd be remarkable in some way.

However, my time here has allowed me to observe his virtues for myself.

No wonder he gets all "tsundere" when you gush about him like that.

I suppose that would be one word for it. The Grandcypher itself is a vessel, and all those aboard are crew.

I take care not to praise him overmuch when he's present. A little, however, is impossible to avoid.

So if I read what you said word for word to his face I'll get a good reaction.
