[ She's gone from angry to trying to keep busy, at least, and Mayuzumi can't be the only one in their household working anyway so this time Emerald's trying to post her resume. Except she doesn't really have one. ]
Who is hiring?
Here are the things I like in a job:
-Customers don't mind if I am snarky or insulting to them
-I'm lowkey annoyed a lot so I have to take Sanguis moon off or I'll kill someone, so a flexible schedule
-Active movement is a plus
-People will be quiet if I have a headache, or in general, but at least when I have a headache
Absolute no's:
-"The customer is always right" attitudes
-I'm not going to pretend to be peppy and cheerful all the time
-Yoga instructor (already tried working on my zen, it didn't take)
-Library (the last one I tried to work in was destroyed on my starting day, I don't think it's meant to be)
-Prostitution
-Volunteer work
-Criminal activity probably
I can do some home cooking (a lot of tofu dishes, spicy foods, and outdoor cooking) and I know how to grow a couple of herb plants but I'm not a professional chef. I can fight. I'm learning to drive. Most of my skills aren't really [ legal/ethical ] marketable so that's my whole resume.

[ She's not a hero. Protecting a bunch of scientists who only care about chroma sounds like a vomit-worthy job to her, especially after when she asked why people disappear from this place it's just that they weren't producing chroma anymore so they got sent home. Emerald has decided she doesn't like Prismals very much. Being useful to them is something she doesn't have much choice in, but she's sure not sticking her neck out for them. ]

[ He likes being able to eat things, so this feels like a good thing to lead with. ]

Is it a conflict of interest if I visit Cafe Azure still?
[ She likes bothering Sandalphon and drinking coffee.. but that he knows her attitude toward customers and still wants her to interact with them is kind of interesting. ]
Is there a uniform?
text | un: demonchef (I am so late to this sob)
doesnt have to be in the food service part either
(not that late, you're fine!)
What other parts are there?
[ It sounds Japanese but that's one word that hasn't really come up for her while she's trying to learn basic conversation. (Also because no one's taken her to eat some..) ]

noodles and meat or seafood cooked on a flat-top grill
i need a few more people to work the back area though
dishwashers and other maintenance, but there's also a back kitchen that does prep work for the front grills and fills orders for off the grill

And kusaya, but I refuse to on principle. Last time I made it I just abandoned my apartment and moved in with my boyfriend because he thought it was super romantic.
I can do prep work.

who the hell even tries to make kasuya anymore you'd clear an entire city block if you're not careful can't say i blame you for moving out

I want to keep coming in there as a customer, if it's work I can't relax. :(
[ She undoubtedly started coming in there to pick up sweets and drinks after her "birthday."
If handwaving that is cool with you?]no subject
[ He's coffee-obsessed, of course he finds it relaxing.
Wave those hands mightily and well, he'd have tried to deliver on that flavor combo she mentioned on her special day by now.]There is also a clinic across the street, and a business which accepts varied jobs situated on the floor above mine, if either is relevant to your interests.

Me healing anyone is laughable, and that last one sounds sketchy. Any business model that is just "accepts jobs" is sketchy and usually hiding something or only hires people who were too sketchy for a real job.
[ and she's trying to avoid being sketchy herself!! ]
no subject
Still, I've never known Sen to be "sketchy". She's among the kindest people I have met in this place. Are odd jobs not an acceptable line of business?
