[ She's gone from angry to trying to keep busy, at least, and Mayuzumi can't be the only one in their household working anyway so this time Emerald's trying to post her resume. Except she doesn't really have one. ]

Who is hiring?

Here are the things I like in a job:
-Customers don't mind if I am snarky or insulting to them
-I'm lowkey annoyed a lot so I have to take Sanguis moon off or I'll kill someone, so a flexible schedule
-Active movement is a plus
-People will be quiet if I have a headache, or in general, but at least when I have a headache

Absolute no's:
-"The customer is always right" attitudes
-I'm not going to pretend to be peppy and cheerful all the time
-Yoga instructor (already tried working on my zen, it didn't take)
-Library (the last one I tried to work in was destroyed on my starting day, I don't think it's meant to be)
-Prostitution
-Volunteer work
-Criminal activity probably

I can do some home cooking (a lot of tofu dishes, spicy foods, and outdoor cooking) and I know how to grow a couple of herb plants but I'm not a professional chef. I can fight. I'm learning to drive. Most of my skills aren't really [ legal/ethical ] marketable so that's my whole resume.

I've been collecting samples out in the wild for them and protecting more senior researchers from this world. Their major research projects seem focused on the effects of chroma on the environment, so far.

Yeaaah, I'm not risking my life for this planet or its people.

[ She's not a hero. Protecting a bunch of scientists who only care about chroma sounds like a vomit-worthy job to her, especially after when she asked why people disappear from this place it's just that they weren't producing chroma anymore so they got sent home. Emerald has decided she doesn't like Prismals very much. Being useful to them is something she doesn't have much choice in, but she's sure not sticking her neck out for them. ]

Fair enough. It does pay well, but chroma is easy enough to get through physical contact anyway.

hahaha. Most jobs want people to be helpful in some way. People probably aren't going to pay someone to do things that many people like to do. Maybe learning a new skill would help you keep busy.

Let me be clearer: I'm not against helping anyone, I just don't want to help the government or the moon knights. Anyone else is fine.

Ah. Not fond of the people in power. I can understand that. I wanted to learn more about science and technology and I knew I can survive things that the Prismals can't, so it seemed like a good fit for me.

Yeah, I'm sure it is for some people.
If you figure out how to intentionally travel to different worlds let me know. That's research worth doing.

Agreed. I already suggested to them that while they were searching for a way to return people to their worlds, that they allow people who want to stay here to do so. I can mention the possibility of sending people to worlds other than their own, too.

The fact they aren't already working on it is annoying since they want us all to get close to each other and they didn't even think about it.

Best case scenario would be like, willful jumping with no memory loss. Like I would still want to visit here since my partner wants to stay here, but I want to go to Japan. So if you're taking requests...

I know someone named Mercury here. If we're talking about the same one, yes, he probably would.
