[ She's gone from angry to trying to keep busy, at least, and Mayuzumi can't be the only one in their household working anyway so this time Emerald's trying to post her resume. Except she doesn't really have one. ]

Who is hiring?

Here are the things I like in a job:
-Customers don't mind if I am snarky or insulting to them
-I'm lowkey annoyed a lot so I have to take Sanguis moon off or I'll kill someone, so a flexible schedule
-Active movement is a plus
-People will be quiet if I have a headache, or in general, but at least when I have a headache

Absolute no's:
-"The customer is always right" attitudes
-I'm not going to pretend to be peppy and cheerful all the time
-Yoga instructor (already tried working on my zen, it didn't take)
-Library (the last one I tried to work in was destroyed on my starting day, I don't think it's meant to be)
-Prostitution
-Volunteer work
-Criminal activity probably

I can do some home cooking (a lot of tofu dishes, spicy foods, and outdoor cooking) and I know how to grow a couple of herb plants but I'm not a professional chef. I can fight. I'm learning to drive. Most of my skills aren't really [ legal/ethical ] marketable so that's my whole resume.

Like, I don't get the point of cabbage. It doesn't taste like anything and it's not filling so what is the point?

where im from it was like

some area i think ireland maybe had a lot of years of drought and bad harvests and cabbage and potatoes were some of the only things to survive enough to make into food

iunno all the details but it came up in a book i was trying to read about the food in other areas of my world

the only time ive had it taste good was in fried cabbage rolls but also anything tastes better fried

I mean I'll eat it if there's absolutely nothing else but lol it's the worst option :(
There's no Ireland in my world though so I don't know what the excuse in Remnant is

We've got more underpopulation issues than food issues I think. Our world's infested with monsters, we've only got four functioning kingdoms. Which makes it even worse to consider when someone actually is starving when you think about it.

Just skip the cabbage and eat the salt in that case.
