I'd rather be bored than constantly wondering how I'm going to have to adapt to the changes next time the moon comes out. At least the pants I bought that have a tail hole are adjustable to different kinds of tails.

What are your usual changes like versus this time around?

I can understand that.

Usually, I have sheep-like features. Horns, tail, ears and my hair is fluffier than normal too.

I've been some kind of feral dog, a koi fish, a dragon, and now part snake? The snake tongue is the worst part, I can smell things with it and it's horrible.

Oh... I didn't even think about how someone that displays snake features might end up with a tongue like that. Fascinating.

I still have some of my sheep features, my hair is fluffy and I still have the horns. But my lower half is a fish with sheep legs.

Maybe, but I'd rather not have clinical observations be made about me. Or at least keep them to yourself.

Anyway, sorry, this isn't about me. I've had a fish tail but still had human legs at the same time. Are your sheep legs not functional? Is that why you're having troubles with moving?

They function it's just that the fishtail is very long and heavy. Hippocampi were made for the water, after all. And that seems to be what this Triple Moon has decided to model my form after.

The hippocampus, aside from being a part of the brain, is a creature that is half-horse and half-fish.

I've never seen one before. They definitely don't exist in my world. I'm not surprised they'd be around in yours - you said before you were some kind of goddess, right?

I wouldn't be surprised if they exist here, though, given a lot of the Prismals here are some kind of mix of animals.

Actually maybe there are some Prismals here that might know how to handle getting around with a really big fish tail out of water?

Right. I remember you saying it before on the network, though I don't really know a whole lot about mythology, Greek or otherwise.

[Which was ironic given that a lot of names in his world had Greek roots. Kray from 'Kratos', Heris from 'Hera', even one Galo Thymos from the Greek word 'Thumos'. That all went right over Lio's head, though.]

I mean maybe it's a better solution that a bath tub with wheels, but it doesn't sound all that convenient.

Well, don't worry too much about it. I just make flowers grow and not much else.

He said they had the pond expanded because they have other friends that have needed the space in the past. So it would be fine. Though if I have to deal with this again I might see about taking myself over the Crystal Beach and floating around in the ocean for a few days.

Also I can fly to get around if I need to. It's just that doing so burns Chroma.

I'd hate to have to find some body of water just to get through a moon cycle. I was lucky my fish changes still left me entirely ambulatory - I just had problems with my pants fitting.

At least you can fly. I used to be able to fly, though I guess the Chroma would still have been an issue here even if I could still do it. Maybe if you just carry someone with you, the Moonlacing will cancel out the Chroma burning?

You're not the first to suggest that. And honestly, it might be possible. Though I'm not sure if I actually can.

Speaking from experience, using the fire magic Sanguis comes with doesn't really take anything out of me so long as I'm embracing my partner. It's like having a battery pack attached to you.

Though that might be contingent on our relationship being as strong as it is. I'm not sure if you have anyone like that.

Well, if you need someone who's willing to put up with silly experiments, my partner is always open to reckless ideas.

I'll admit it would be really funny seeing someone try to carry him around while flying.

Well, I'm not a particularly big woman so if he's as tall as just about every man I know I'm not sure if it'd be worth the try. I might be stronger than most mortals but even that uses up Chroma.

I do have a friend that can also fly so at least if we find a chance to give it a try she won't die should I drop her.

Ah, that's too bad. I'm much smaller than him, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to risk it without being able to fly, as you said.

Tell you what. You know I said I used to be able to fly, right? I used to use bursts of fire to get around, but I lost the ability before coming here. That said, I've recently regained some of that ability under the Sanguis moon, and I'm slowly strengthening it.

If I manage to get to the point where I can fly using my flames again, I'll let you know and you can try it with me. As no shortage of people here have pointed out to me, I have a very small and light stature.
