What are their names? How old are they?

The one who looks like me is Grimmchild, until they inherit the title of Grimm. They are roughly eight years old in human terms.

The other bug is a friend, not my child. They are known as the Knight, and I believe they would be at least a hundred years old at this point.

I see! That's like "Junior," I take it? They're really quite cute. They've taken after you a lot!

[ Ah, so they call themselves bugs, huh? Interesting. ]

That so? Would you consider Knight an adult, then?

I believe so. They are certainly quite capable of taking care of themselves.

Then, about the Ritual.... are you going to do it when your child is also 100?

It will be less than a day after I return home. It cannot be made to wait any longer - my time is up.

The answer to that is a long and complex 'in a sense'.

I hope that your child is able to find happiness after you are gone. It may take a long, long time, however. So, try to have a lot of good memories with them here.
