Ah, hello, everyone! And welcome, those of you who are new.

[Marina's broadcasting in her apartment, perched on a stool with an electric guitar on her lap. It looks well-loved, and it's covered in stickers, some that must have been there for a decade.]

It looks like these dragons are making a lot of us more musically-inclined, aren't they? Well, among other things that are taking priority, of course, but... Ufufu. That aside, how are you all finding it? It's certainly made the city more lively.

[She laughs to herself and starts idly strumming the guitar.]

I suppose it's important for the dragons to find one another with song, but we're all here together already, and yet the changes still want us to connect with music. Do you think that means something important? Maybe I'm just thinking about it all too much.

It's a powerful thing. I know music can get people through years of some of the darkest living imaginable.

When you put it that way, it makes sense. After all, isn't that what the planet's been through with the Chroma drain before we got here?

Supposedly. Don't know how willing I am to trust everything I hear just yet.

That's true, though everything we've seen does hint to it. Even from, well, the dangerous things.

Ghosts, floods, an evil lion angel, a cult... it's a pretty scary place sometimes, even as friendly as it is normally. [sigh] I don't do well with the creepy stuff.

A cult? Like the Church?

Well, this one's run by foxes, and they got an idol unit to mind-control people once. So... maybe not.

How long have you been here?

A few months, but some people have been here a good deal longer.

That many "creepy" things happen in such a short amount of time, and you still consider this place friendly? Hmm.

I guess it comes down to how people deal with it. Coming together and protecting each other when things go wrong. That sort of thing. Ahaha, it sounds strange, doesn't it?

[bolderfell]

...Maybe not that strange. Still, so much unpredictability doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Even right now, who knows what else the dragons are doing to our heads... beyond the obvious.

It's true, no one really seems to know what these dragon subgroups do. Or at least there's a lot of misinformation floating around.

Heard anything solid yourself?

[Hello, it's rumor-gathering time and he hasn't even had to pay for anyone's ale. Maybe these devices aren't such a bad invention after all.]

Some people assumed they were just like the moonblessings, but it looks like the traits are a little mixed up. Like how one of them gets both the pheromones from Cordis and, well... the heat from Iris. Not to mention all the singing going on out there.

Huh. Do any of the normal moonblessings have to do with... making beds?

Definitely not. I think that's got to do with dragons nesting like birds.

Honestly, I wish it'd stop. The moon nonsense is bad enough on its own. I don't need to be bird-brained on top of everything else.

Hopefully it doesn't last too long, then. The city might run out of shiny objects otherwise.

No worries. Thanks for the trouble. What kinds of things have you heard?

Think one of them makes people give off nice smells when they're nervous. Flowers and herbs and stuff. And voice changes besides the music thing. Really strange stuff.

Hmm. The first one makes sense, but the second, I'm not sure what use a dragon would have for that. People might be having fun with it, though...

Mostly doesn't seem like they can control it. Makes them sound... how do I put it in words. Hmm... helpless. Needy. No idea how that ties into dragons.
