Ah, hello, everyone! And welcome, those of you who are new.

[Marina's broadcasting in her apartment, perched on a stool with an electric guitar on her lap. It looks well-loved, and it's covered in stickers, some that must have been there for a decade.]

It looks like these dragons are making a lot of us more musically-inclined, aren't they? Well, among other things that are taking priority, of course, but... Ufufu. That aside, how are you all finding it? It's certainly made the city more lively.

[She laughs to herself and starts idly strumming the guitar.]

I suppose it's important for the dragons to find one another with song, but we're all here together already, and yet the changes still want us to connect with music. Do you think that means something important? Maybe I'm just thinking about it all too much.

It's not just the dragons, is it? Between that fiasco with the band and singing to ward off those fantasy-stealing pests... it seems we've had nothing but a need for music for months.

[Marina idly plays her guitar, thinking it over.]

Which makes me wonder: what is it about music, if what this world runs on is physical affection?

I was asking myself the same thing before. I don't think the Lunar Scientia have done any comprehensive studies about it yet...

[ Might be worth the while, if only to develop a counter... ]

Song is associated with festivities and socializing in many cultures, so maybe it has something to do with that.

So you're thinking that music's so important because it facilitates us all getting together?

[inordertobelieve]

That was my idea, yes. Granted, I'm not personally one who is attracted to music and social gatherings, but these things tend to be based off majority.

You aren't, huh? I guess you don't like being bothered.

That's about it, yes. I understand the appeal on a theoretical level, but it's just not for me.

It must be hard being an introvert in a place like this. Both in the sense that there's always something new going on and the... ahaha, the other thing.

Yes. It's certainly a planet that presents... unique challenges to all of us, in one way or another.

I hope you're doing okay regardless. I know some people are harder up than others.

You're enjoying the music increase, I assume.

I do work in the industry, so it's a little on-the-nose in my case.

Well, I assume professional music is still a lot different from the singing that has been going on all around here.

In many cases, yes. But that's not always a bad thing, either, you know? Sometimes people who don't have anybody to answer to can make something no one's heard before.
