[ A break from your regularly scheduled Sanguis in the late afternoon of July 1. On video is an almost naked JJ - standing much taller than normal, scales crawling over his arms and to his face, with curved horns. He's dressed in an oversized t-shirt that says I'm Not Perfect, But I'm Canadian. So close enough.

He's holding up a Canadian flag, which he got from god knows where, and it's mostly hiding that he's actually clothed today. He's grinning stupidly, fangs and all. His voice sounds just a little different thanks to being exalted, though he sounds quite cheerful. The background? His kitchen. Clean but there's definitely a lot of baked goods even in view. ]

Happy Canada Day! If I were home today, I'd be eating my mom's berry pie and watching fireworks. I could probably find some fireworks, and I am great at baking, but nothing is as good as mom's, I guess.

That being said I made way too many sweets and I can't eat them all, so if anyone wants some baked goods, they're free to a good home. Just drop your info and I'll have them delivered to you. I have a few different variety of pies, some Nanaimo bars, that sort of thing.

If you don't want sweets, tell me about a food you're missing from home.

Umm. The berry pies aren't too sweet, depending on the berry. Raspberry especially.

If you like raspberry that might be the best way to go!

[ Knock, knock as a warning, and he'll give it a few seconds, just in case, before he steps in. JJ has a bounce in his step and he has his pie packed away neatly in a box. He'll immediately step inside and say -- ]

[ sousuke was just chilling, laying down on his couch, but he's quick to get up and walk towards the door to meet his guest. ]

Yeah! No problem. I've been here long enough that I don't get lost near as easily anymore.

[ He's explored a lot. ]

Plus, I still live in the free apartments.

Of course it does - it's fresh. It's the best way to have some. Hey, you look pretty cute!

[ He turns, showing his...long, dragon tail. ]

I was a dog for a little while! Then bam, dragon. It's fun [ sure, jj ] Like, if your tail wags really fast, it can knock things over without noticing.

[ who wrecked his apartment? this guy ]

he lets out a low whistle once he gets a good look at that tail. ]

I bet your tail knocks over more than mine does. [ shoots him a grin ]
