I have no desire to go on at length today, nor do I have a particular point to make. Merely a question.

Tell me about something fundamental to your world. Not something that's merely different to this place, but something that you wouldn't have been able to conceive of a world being without until you were brought here. Whether it's mundane or not matters very little to me; every world has something.

[That's surprisingly brief for him, but at least it's less...everything he usually is over the network. Small mercies, maybe.]

I think I took for granted being able to live in a world that didn't have more than one moon and the one we had wasn't responsible for... the kind of cycles we have here in this place.

[Sometimes he misses living in a world where he isn't unbearably thirsty more so than Daniel Dicken's usual level of thirst for attention is I mean at least once a month.]

My, is it really? I'm almost a little sorry to hear that.

[... Almost, because it is kind of hilarious hearing that actually.]

"Bearable, but deeply inconvenient" is more or less how I would describe it myself as well.

Otherwise, I can't think of anything else particularly noteworthy that this place doesn't also have by comparison. Maybe this place is more technologically advanced than mine, and has a lot of non-humans walking around, but that's about it as far as things outside of just not having one's family around or whatever other routines and needs one might have had back home.

[... Like how his routine used to involve killing people a lot, and now he's only killed like, 1 person in his entire time here? WEIRD.]

Unfortunately, I don't have anyone left to get back to either.

Then again, maybe that's actually fortunate? I don't have to worry about leaving anyone behind by staying here or wondering what is going on while I'm not there.

At the moment? Yes, if only because a better option has yet to present itself.

[He's hella dead probably back home, so he... can't go back there unless it turns out he somehow cheated death yet again there.]

Oh? Is it anything you're able to share, or are they considered private matters?

Ahhh yes, I think I recall you mentioning before that your world was experiencing some kind of crisis, or at least implying it was.

[Back around the time when Wesker had been asking about who here showed up while in the middle of an apocalypse or the like, he means.]

Well, isn't that noble of you. I wish you the best of luck in succeeding at this endeavor.

Oh, really? Even though you're trying to help fix whatever problem has caused your world to fall apart? These must be some extreme methods if people are not willing to agree with them.

In what way? If you don't mind giving specifics about the situation, that is.

[... Wesker, you have a habit of being vague in a way that reminds him of Gray gee I wonder why and he's not sure if he finds it annoying or not yet.]

I can't say that I understand completely, given that I still don't know what exactly caused your "potential end of the world" crisis you have going on. However, it doesn't surprise me to think that there are people who would still be rather complacent even during an apocalypse of some kind.

... Considering that what you just described sounds like zombies, I would think you're already past the point of calling it apocalyptic.

[fucking zombies, jesus]

I... suppose I could see that.

... Was this in America by any chance?

[because this sounds like something that would happen in America tbh]
