Well, well. It seems it's true, then, that the potential exists for every monthly moon cycle to elicit a different set of changes in an individual. It's not exactly what I'd call reassuring, I suppose, but it's some consolation nevertheless. There are worse things to contend with than bioluminescence — which is proving to be a nuisance, but a tolerable one.

Of slightly more concern to me is the matter of moonlacing. While I recall that it's possible to get by on brief and simplistic methods of contact, it's also my understanding that a minimalist approach leaves a person exposed to a certain level of risk, should an unexpected drain on their chroma abruptly leave them overdrawn, as it were.

With that in mind, I'd be interested in negotiating terms for a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Let me stress that this is not a solicitation. Bold-faced overtures seeking sex will be denied without response. Consider this more an...attempt to establish certain contingencies, to afford everyone involved a little more peace of mind.

I'm willing to talk terms. If something of this nature is of interest to you, feel free to inquire within.

I'm implying that you like to fight anyone powerful, and a daiyokai might actually provide you with certain challenge.

Try to find out, the next time you engage with them. It would be helpful to know about the possibility of territorial disputes before we wind up inadvertently in the middle of one.

Mukuro does not have leverage over me. Simply the ability to give me what I wanted. And an understanding of certain shared experiences.

He knows about my mother. I'm confident enough that I could kill him, if need be. I don't know that I could do it before one of his subordinates killed her, in kind.

We have history, he and I. I'm sure he's enjoying the superiority his current position affords him.

It wasn't about his death. I did what I did in the manner I chose because I wanted him to understand his insignificance — and disposability. Doing it myself, directly, would have meant that he was worth my personal attention.

Given what I've heard of the current ruler of Demon World, it seems that all his efforts have been for naught, in the end.

Yes, in a way. I almost don’t want to compete next tournament. I stand a decent chance if Mukuro decides not to either just take the crown by force or fight in the tournament and I don’t want it. I can’t think of a worse torture than being tied to that seat for a year or so.
