[voice bc she knows it's easier for Konoha.]

If everyone who had an egg had that egg hatch into a plant, then I think it was always going to be a plant.

Eggs aren't exactly normal to begin with for mammals anyway. Something was always a bit off...

[...mmm......]

I'm sorry, Konoha. I know how excited you were...

[oh!! hm...well, Haru is keen enough to read between the lines so...shifting to text.]

Well, it's good to know that it was a learning experience for you and your husband, but it's also okay to be disappointed too. Thinking you're pregnant with a kid and going through the motions, only to have it be an egg with a plant inside is pretty upsetting.

What did you wind up doing with your plant?

Eggshells make pretty good fertilizer! Calcium is good for a lot of plants. You can crush it into a fine powder and mix it into the soil.

[SHE'S......trying to be helpful.]

Right right that makes sense...

You could just bury it near the plant then? I'm sure it would have the same effect.

I just specialize in plants, wouldn't go so far as to say I'm smart.

It's also bit funny, because I do see them as my children when I take care of them.

I'll tell you about it later.
