Hello, everyone! [He waves for the camera.] My name is Ren and I'm an idol. I approach the network today because I wish to meet other singers. Professional ones or just people who really love to sing.

You see, I'm part of a seven member boyband, so being on my own out here is kind of lonely. So I want to meet others who enjoy singing to help fill the void.

I also do play the saxophone, so hearing about others playing musical instruments would be nice.

[He then shrugs, amused.] Or just hearing about what music means to you works as well.

[ Weiss is more known for her contributions to theatre in Lunatia, but she's dabbled in music too and has released various singles here and there. Someone new probably won't recognise her, though. It isn't something she's going to flaunt, either. ]

Seven members in the band? Doesn't that get tiring? You'd only have such few solos.

[ She can't even begin to imagine... She's more used to performing alone, though. ]

[saxsongs]

[Ren smiles because he recognizes Weiss - and he's happy to see her again.]

It does sometimes. Honestly, when we first started I didn't want to join the band... but I don't regret I did. We do try to get everyone solos every now and then.

[He shrugs.] And there's always solo and smaller group projects. I do have my own songs.

[schmisse]

Doesn't having a solo career take away how special being in a band is, though?

[ And don't people usually go solo after the band phase? ]

[saxsongs]

Not at all. How the idol industry works is that anything you do solo benefits the band you are in. We all can have separate careers from each other, but what we sing together is something entirely else. Something magical.

[schmisse]

I somehow can't imagine living a life like that, sorry. Still, if it works for you guys, then that's good.

... I don't think I could ever join a group. I don't mind being featured in other artists' work, though.

[saxsongs]

It's definitely not for everyone. To be quite honest, I was aiming to become a solo idol at first.

[Well, he wasn't aiming for becoming a idol at first at all, but.]

Maybe we should sing together sometime.

[schmisse]

Oh... I— [ ... duet with a hot guy? Sounds exciting, tbh. ] Well, if our voices would sound good together...

[saxsongs]

Of course, we'd have to test it out. We were talking about going to Karaoke sometime with some others on this post... would you be interested?

[schmisse]

Karaoke? I've never actually tried...

[ Guess who didn't have friends before, Ren? ]

Never? You have to try it at least once, then.

[schmisse]

I don't mind. It's just that I've never had a chance to before!
