I've been here for a year and I think I may have a little bit of artists' block. I think it might be the summer heat.

When I first got here I got to do some scuba diving. I haven't gotten to do this for awhile and I'd like to give it another try since it's so warm out. It's probably a long shot, but if anyone here is skilled in it, would you mind answering some questions? While I'm sure there are places to learn - it can't hurt to ask here first.

And a few curious questions.

1. Tell me something interesting about the world you were before here. I'm always looking to hear stories from where you're from. So if you have a story you spontaneously want to share, send me a message.
2. An interesting thing you've learned about this world. The Moons and Chroma don't count, I'd bet that's different from most, if not all, places. Something like a hidden gem of a restaurant,
3. What do you do to get inspiration? New location? Where's your favorite place to get inspired here?
4. Where's your favorite place to pick up some new furniture.

That being said, I have the opportunity to set up a permanent studio here, which should prevent my cat** from spilling tea on stuff when he wants attention.

Several, many. It fluctuates, but we are always getting strays.

Yes, he's a normal cat...Depending on what is normal for you, I guess. But he's what I'd expect when I hear about a pet cat.

...Is Peace a cat? I don't see why not, regardless.

I went on my first day here. I'm not much of a beach person otherwise, but scuba diving was exciting.

...Did I ever tell you I used to play in the music club at school? I was pretty good, too — second chair. There was a girl who was better than me, but she was going to graduate, so it was to be expected.

You're absolutely correct. Could I possibly join you on this underwater adventure? It could be fascinating to see what imagery can be gleaned from the ocean of another world.

I understand. Where I'm from, there are still regular animals but things like monsters are also as common so I was curious.

Yeah, it made sense the first time. And I don't think your method will work because I don't like things that are boring, which isn't an effective route for gaining inspiration.

They are things I draw to keep up my skill, nothing more.

That's your only dislike? Things that are boring. I'm jealous. I wish I could be more like you. I think I dislike things more than I like them.

What kind of work do you do?

It's a bit confusing thinking of the time spent here and home.. maybe half a year?
And he came from home yeah, though Peace arrived here with my little brother. I arrived with my other kids, Chirpie and Blue. Chirpie is pretty normal looking, he's a very round white bird. Blue is a gold griffin.
