I've been here for a year and I think I may have a little bit of artists' block. I think it might be the summer heat.

When I first got here I got to do some scuba diving. I haven't gotten to do this for awhile and I'd like to give it another try since it's so warm out. It's probably a long shot, but if anyone here is skilled in it, would you mind answering some questions? While I'm sure there are places to learn - it can't hurt to ask here first.

And a few curious questions.

1. Tell me something interesting about the world you were before here. I'm always looking to hear stories from where you're from. So if you have a story you spontaneously want to share, send me a message.
2. An interesting thing you've learned about this world. The Moons and Chroma don't count, I'd bet that's different from most, if not all, places. Something like a hidden gem of a restaurant,
3. What do you do to get inspiration? New location? Where's your favorite place to get inspired here?
4. Where's your favorite place to pick up some new furniture.

That being said, I have the opportunity to set up a permanent studio here, which should prevent my cat** from spilling tea on stuff when he wants attention.

I understand. Where I'm from, there are still regular animals but things like monsters are also as common so I was curious.

It's hard to be mad even when they make a mess, isn't it?

But having less messes really is ideal.

Oh, it would be much better if he didn't destroy entire pages of work and should be grateful I'm fast and forgiving.

Oh, he's pretty interesting. He came from home, then? How long have you had him?

What kind of work do you do?

[ He read artists' block and that he's setting up a studio.. A writer? A painter? Maybe even a photographer? ]

It's a bit confusing thinking of the time spent here and home.. maybe half a year?
And he came from home yeah, though Peace arrived here with my little brother. I arrived with my other kids, Chirpie and Blue. Chirpie is pretty normal looking, he's a very round white bird. Blue is a gold griffin.

I write and draw manga.

...You have a pet griffin? That's pretty interesting, actually. Do you have any pictures?

Are you continuing a series from home? Or starting a new one while here?

I raise monsters as a living back home, to become strong companions and party members to people in dungeons. She's one of the few I've taken on. Let's see, pictures...

She's grown bigger since then. She's about the size of a large dog now and she'll still keep growing.

I'm working on new things while here. Mostly one-shot stories. I feel something like that works well in a place where arriving and leaving aren't predictable. Though I have my series from home here.

[ He's totally fascinated, or even a bit enamored. ]

I've never met anyone who does something like that. Where I come from we have what you'd expect as far as pets. No interesting creatures and things like that. I'd be pretty shocked to see a griffin around town where I'm from. To be honest, this sounds almost exciting as going into the dungeons themselves.

How large will she end up being? What one would imagine when they hear 'griffin'?

One-shots are always a fun read. Do you plan to sell any?

To be fair, what I do isn't easily accessible either. I'm one of the first. Back home we begun to have a law in the works getting pushed that may consider allowing tamed monsters roam around so long as they're under control. For now, I just keep them in my raising facility. Dungeons are certainly fun to explore, but they're very dangerous alone and better for hunters in capable teams.

Hmm... Well, each monster are unique to a sense, even with how big they get. You may very well run into monsters the sizes of buildings while exploring dungeons. Blue was the size of a small dog when I got her, since she's as big as a large dog.. I imagine she can possibly get as big as a car if her growth keeps going well. Maybe bigger?

Ah. It's pretty impressive that you are one of the first ones who has done it. So the tamed monster you keep - I'd assume they have special abilities and skills that make them useful in a dungeon.

I should keep an eye out then.

Everything in my world awakens to abilities so you would be right. Peace is a horned flame lion, so he has a lot of fire related skills. Making him compatible to work with someone that also has fire skills thanks to Peace's resistance.

Ah, that's interesting. I've never met someone who does what you do, of course. If that's not obvious. Are you continuing your work here?
