[It is in the heat of the triple moon and someone is a moth-like creature.

She's recording in her residence, which appears a little more put together than the last time she addressed the network from it. Evidently, she has been surviving quite well enough on her own.

Perne is trying to hide a portion of herself as subtly as she can, dark hair in her eyes, but the fuzzy antennae dangle to and fro and with four arms, she does twice as much fidgeting.

...This is, truthfully, the first time she's been so open about her transformation. In the end, she is here for a reason.]

Do we have any painters here? I suppose one adept in sketching would also suffice.
I would like to commission a piece.

[She pauses.]

It must be tasteful, yet alluring and beautifully sensual.

[Perne shifts just enough to sit back before she continues.]

I can pay in Chroma or with other bartering items. I study plants and have begun to craft teas. If you find yourself interested, please arrange with me that I might see some of your other works and determine if your style suits mine desires.

[His demeanour suits her fine. Perne, whilst observant, does not possess the same intuition with those she is not particularly close to. As such, she can only admire his professionalism, terse as it may seem.

With her cup in hand, she begins to examine his works. Vibrant. Saturated. The first couple she peers at, any road. They're lovely. He has no way of knowing it, but lilies are her favourite flower. She's stuck on it for some moments in her own kind of appreciation before she moves along, a discerning eye, if anything.]

These are quite lovely.

[He offers her the sketches in question and if it were any other situation, it's entirely possible that she might have turned a few shades of pink. But this is a very important meeting with a very important end goal in mind. Estinien deserves the best, does he not? And she must have the best portray her.

As she examines the details, the posturing, the very lines themselves, her head tips.]

These are, as well. Is this something you do where you come from?

Thank you. [He takes the compliment graciously. Soubi doesn't think much of his own skill although he's been told he's good. But if you're selling your art then you shouldn't disagree.]

I'm an art student at university and I've been painting since I was a child. I guess you could say it's one of my passions. [Although he really doesn't have passion for anything but it does sound good when you call it that, huh?]

Flowers are my favorites to paint. [He had noticed how she looked at his pictures of lilies.]

[Whilst Perne can't claim to know what a 'university' truly is, she is able to glean enough from 'student' to make appropriate conjecture. Either way, he is good at what he does. He has evidently practised to hone just such a skill. No different from her and music. Well, that is. They are similar.

As he makes mention of flowers, she cannot help but smile subtly. From a distance, it would likely look like nothing at all. But in his presence, it's present enough.]

I study flora of all varieties. [She won't call herself a botanist, though she is in some aspect of the word. It's not a profession. Simply a hobby. A way of passing her time in Eorzea.] These flowers here... [She gestures to the lilies.] They are mine favourite kind. I have never seen an orange one before.

They're called lilies where I come from. But this color in particular of these flowers are called tiger lilies. I don't know if you have tigers where you come from. [He's made an assumption that she is from a different world than his. It seems like the most logical conclusion.]

But they're the same color. We have yellow as well. What colors do you have?

[Small talk is part of the deal, right? This is how you're friendly. Or so he thinks?

Either way, there is an earnest attempt being made here at customer service.]
