Perhaps there is someone here who flies or.. teaches others to fly that may know an answer, here.

I have two young ones that are beginning to spread and flap their wings more and more, so I'm thinking that maybe it's time that they learn how to fly. Or at the very least begin to.

There are some possible avenues I think may be productive so far as beginning their training, but I've also never had to teach anyone to fly.

What is the best way to help them get their wings under them?

'Friends' are a crutch for the weak.

Not unless we're in another tournament to fight or die.

Here I mostly need to know where other demons stand, should we need to join forces for one reason or another.

So I've heard quite a few say. I do wonder about that.

An alliance amongst demons? It sounds like you've been working hard.
It doesn't hurt to come prepared, sure enough.

No use in ruling out possibilities. I would rather ally with my own kind if I am able.

Plus, it's good to know who may provide a worthwhile fight.

Just the fact that people seem to like to shy away from the concept like it burns them, that's all. That people see it as a sign of weakness.

Makes sense, you'd know more on what to expect with your own kind. I'm curious as well to see how many of my own are around, but I'm hardly in a rush to make contact. I'm sure I'll run into them sooner than later.

Connections that can be used to manipulate are a weakness.

I doubt much could be used as leverage against you to begin with. Though I suppose I could see what you mean.

Probably not in the way you imagine.
It’s a tad more difficult in a larger crowd, too many intermingling scents. Easier when faced with one to focus on. Perhaps with some practice?

Never had to? How is it that you've been a vampire for however long you have and you have yet to find ways to pick out your own kind other than scent?

Spoiled rotten. Never had to, yes. We knew where they settled and minded our own territory. Plus, people weren’t compacted into a city like this. Wasn’t as hard to pick one out.

It's a stupid thing not to learn, regardless. Are you so assured your situation will stay the same forever?

Did I think that being transported to an entirely different planet was going to be a thing that happened to me, with every bit of what I knew uprooted and turned in on itself?

Not really.

And no, yet again. We’d adapt with time, of course, and I suppose that time is now.

So are you going to keep scolding me about it or were you intending to teach me?

I didn't mean the off chance you'd end up in Lunatia. I meant in your own world.

Do you even know about spirit energy or your own? If you don't have something like demon energy I may not be the correct one to teach you.

It'd be too involved to explain it fully, just that there was really no need to be able to detect presences in a manner you're describing.

Our perception and how magic manifests seem to differ between realities as well, even the very concept of demons is different. You and the few others I've encountered aren't like any that I've seen thus far.

Really? That's a shame. I suppose I'll figure it out at some point.

How were demons in your world?

If Urameshi was here he could. But your next best option would be Kuwabara... Or Kurama, maybe. He and Urameshi having demon and human may complicate things further.

Of course we do, so that they may be welcomed properly.
But that's typically what guards are for.

They're ferocious creatures, but most aren't even capable of speech.

I'm vaguely acquainted, I think I spoke with a Kuwabara, although I doubt he remembers. I only peeked my head into one of his logs. Your partner though, I've met before as it turns out?

Equivalent to a grey demon in Makai, then. Good training fodder for children. I killed many of them when I was young.

So you know the loud oaf, then? Then you know what to expect.
