So, this is cool. I knew we could change Moonblessings. These glasses make me look like my dad.

So...

Any advice for a fresh new Iris? I had kind of hoped if I were Iris that I'd...just stay a deer and not change too much.

But it looks like that's a big old 'no' for me. It's really different from Sanguis... I'm going to miss getting taller and stronger.

[ And this is the moment where he pauses. Then, seems to realize he should probably just ask aout it. ]

And...I need some more adjustments made on my prosthetic, so if anyone is an expert in that - it's not like anyone could anticipate that I'd suddenly end up thirty centimeters shorter.

It's not always the same for me, but it's usually one of just a few things... In nice months, just my coat changes color... and sometimes my hooves and tail change, too... and in bad months I go into season really bad, so. I can at least... prepare for one of those.

I'm going to miss being Sanguis, to be honest. You'd think if they wanted me to be Iris, they could make me deer.

I'm noticing uh, the - [ it feels weird to say around Konoha?! ] Seasonal things, too. I heard that it's normal for Iris. It's pretty lucky if it doesn't happen too often, though.

It seems kind of unfair... Louis would be perfect with the deer features...

[they can do this! they can talk maturely about breeding seasons!!]

I mean... I think it happens different for everyone, is the bad part... It's not so tough for me because jinba, um, already have breeding seasons, so I'm kind of used to it... it has to be worse than that for it to bother me, but... Maybe other people are bothered more easily...

Right? I make a good deer. It's my best look. No one wants to be anything but their best version.

We don't really have seasons like that at home, though. It's pretty similar to humans, from what I can tell.

It's hard to warn and let people know what to expect since it's so random. Kind of tossing us out here and telling us 'good luck.'

"Good luck" is kind of all you can do, yeah... I feel like I'm pretty prepared for what I can usually expect now, whether it's a good month or bad month, but if something suddenly changed... I wouldn't know what to do at all... I mean, my husband's here, so maybe I'd be fine no matter what, but...

[Not everyone is that lucky... And there's no guarantee how long that luck will last.]
