[ A video comes on and here's your friendly neighborhood red deer appearing. Only...looking a bit different. Instead of having his normal ears, he has long, rabbit ears. He doesn't look too amused by this, either. He also has a pair of glasses settled on his face. ]

So, this is cool. I knew we could change Moonblessings. These glasses make me look like my dad.

So...

Any advice for a fresh new Iris? I had kind of hoped if I were Iris that I'd...just stay a deer and not change too much.

But it looks like that's a big old 'no' for me. It's really different from Sanguis... I'm going to miss getting taller and stronger.

[ And this is the moment where he pauses. Then, seems to realize he should probably just ask aout it. ]

And...I need some more adjustments made on my prosthetic, so if anyone is an expert in that - it's not like anyone could anticipate that I'd suddenly end up thirty centimeters shorter.

You do make a pretty good deer & rabbit hybrid. It would only be normal for a guy like him to think you look cute. [it would be weird if she said he looks like how their hypothetical kid would have looked, wouldn't it? so she keeps her mouth shut on that passing thought.] Anyway, what sort of Iris advice are you looking for? Once you get used to it, there isn't really much to it.

I'm not sure what gave you the impression that this was something I was interested in doing.

Also, you can make parts of limbs entirely grow back?

Nothing did! But as a...doctor I have to offer up all possible choices! Especially when I have a means of...helping.

But yes! I can do that! My powers allow me to rebuild or breakdown things at a subatomic level. For inorganic and organic matter too. But it's a pretty long process depending on multiple factors.

I'm not interested in something like that. I've had this for awhile now, and I ... like how I am. Usually. I wasn't really supposed to get any taller or shorter, so it's been...unnecessary to get one that can shift and adjust.

That sounds like more effort than it's worth.

I am. Yes, bats. It's hard to tell because my eyes are always pretty dark, but if they weren't, you'd probably notice.

It was something to wake up to. Everything was blurry and much higher than it was when I went to bed.

Yes. Bits and pieces this time. I think the Moons think it's cool for me to be an extra weird looking hybrid. The eyes are the least terrible thing about it all.

Depends on how aware of it you are. Sometimes, you just don't realize how affectionate you're being until your partner is shoving you away.

[Said from experience, although Ayer didn't count. It was hilariously easy to embarrass his boyfriend even without being under Iris.]

Personally, I just try to roll with it. It's easier than trying to fight it.
