I've bought a house in Amegahara and I guess you'd call it a bit of a fixer-upper.

I'm doing what I can with it but there's still a lot of work to do. [ And she's kind of winging the shit out of it because what is asking for help...

It has a big garden which is... kind of overgrown.

Anyway, I'm no gardener so I'd appreciate help from someone who knows what they're doing with this stuff. Happy to pay.

Also, anyone who knows anything about taking care of koi.

Sure, I'll send some through to you now.

[ The photos that she sends through are of a very traditional looking Amegaharan garden that's obviously just in need of some TLC. There are trees that clearly resemble the Japanese maple that she's familiar with back home and flower beds containing plants that have obviously grown wild with lack of attention and the inevitable weeds have taken up residence. There's also plenty of empty space for planting new things and even a small koi pond. ]

[she recognizes the style of garden well enough, same with some the plants.

and though water features in gardens are nothing new, the concept of a koi pond very much is but!! she responds in a few minutes after looking through the pictures.]

It definitely looks like something I could help out with. I run the community garden in Lunatia too. If you’ve already got someone helping, I can also offer you some cuttings and starters if you promise to take good care of them.

Getting a garden started is a very exciting venture.

Well I've already had a few offers of help so... I'd do my best to take care of them if you think you can trust me with them. I'm not exactly very experienced with this.

There are definitely hardy plants out there that don't die so easily. I'm sure I could trust you with those.
