okay so i have some questions for the general public
which is you guys

first: if you sent someone to jail on their birthday but they probably forgave you should you be worried that they or a family member is gonna
i don't know
come after you
or something like that
not that it happened
but hypothetically i guess

second: anyone have any thoughts on being called "puppy"?
is it a compliment?
an insult?
i kind of need some outside opinions here

uhhh
yeah that's it
thanks

i apologize i have no advice or experience concerning your first question.

your second inquiry, however! i think it would be a term of endearment. puppies are cute and loyal, beacons of warmth and excitement. it should be considered a compliment, i believe.

a pet name, rather. (that's kind of a joke ! ) U^ェ^U

i suppose if you'd like to be considered something more impressive this is a fair criticism, even if i don't personally find puppies lame.

what kind of animal would you prefer to be called in that case?

i feel like he would be a little more straightforward than this

wait a moment. do you mean the features you grow being a part of this space community? maybe that's also a part of it. while you may have previously been a wolf, they see you affectionately and therefore you're a puppy in THEIR eyes.

but it makes sense to want to show them you're more of an alpha than that! more cool and powerful!

i think you should try and show them more of those cool and powerful charms. become a wolf in their eyes so you are no longer simply a puppy!

(but if you don't want to be called an animal this is perhaps moot. would you prefer a different, more general and romantic term instead ?)

...Wouldn't be called a puppy be similar to being called a baby?

[ She would honestly not be surprised to find out who posted this, but there's something about how... Honestly, it's just kinda sad? So. ]

That is such a highly specific situation where if someone knows this about you, they're gonna know it's you.
But to answer your question, I guess it depends on the kind of person they are?
If they're here, maybe ask them about it. Easier than worrying all the time.

Kind of a weird thing to call someone (assuming it's more than just once?).
I compare my partner to a dog because he's loyal, dependable, and cute. I don't think it's bad.
Kind of subjective.

'Puppy'? Is that in the context of the Sanguis blessing?

[Why...is she even asking...???]

Ah. Is this coming from a romantic partner? It merely sounds like a fond petname.

Unless you don't like it...?

[Not...'romantic' romantic? So many questions, so little time...]

I see what you mean. I know that people use 'baby' as a petname for a partner, sometimes. I would assume this is a similar example, just taking your moonblessing into account.

If you don't like it, why not tell them? If they're a decent person they'll stop. But from what you've described, it sounds fond. Teasing, but fond.

Calling bullshit on that one. It's way too hyper-specific for it to just be some made-up thing when you're also asking another question.
Anyway, you just say what you have to.

My partner and I have spent the last fifteen years of our lives in each others company and for a few years straight, every day and night.
I'm thirty-five and he's a year older than I am.
Depends on the tone you take I guess. I tease a lot and he doesn't mind it.

Hell if I know what I'd do. I do like to see him flustered sometimes, so maybe.
Either way, people are different.
If it bothers you tell them or you're not going to get what you want out of your relationship.
