Hello world!

The name's Phil Connors. I'm pretty new to this whole scene. The scientist guys explained everything to me, so I'm all caught up on that. Not loving the whole "no way home" thing, I've got to say, but at least I'm not the only one this time.

So, do any of you know any news stations around here? I'm a weatherman and I'd like to get a jump on things as soon as possible so I can start affording rent and more furniture than just a bed in a box. (I'm also taking recommendations for getting a good cup of coffee.)

I also want to get a feel for the neighborhood. If anyone’s got general tips, I’d be happy to listen.

[Not like the Lunar Scientia didn't tell him all of this already, but hey, maybe they were keeping something from him. Who knows.]

Sadly no. I'll admit that I haven't really been looking into it. It isn't the type of case I usually work on.

I am. Former FBI, but now I consult for the NYPD, or at least I did back home.

Sorry, I was told that everyone here's from a different alternate universe so it's kind of a surprise to find someone who's from New York City. I also found someone from Cleveland, but they had zombies--you don't have zombies where you're from, do you?

People are from different universes, but I guess it's possible that people might be from the same universe too. Sometimes the thing that separates one person's universe from another is very, very small.

No, no zombies to speak of.

That makes sense. Honestly, it’s close enough to home for me.

Thank God. I was starting to get nervous that we were overdue for an apocalypse, which is… obviously bad. Unless you have some other major disaster going on where you’re from. You don’t, do you?

Unless personal disasters count, no.
