Forgive me for asking such a question, but I'm in the middle of a project and I'm waiting for things to process. So I thought I might as well ask.

Your idea of "fate", should you believe in it. Does such a linear path bring you any comfort at all?

Or is it perhaps worth fighting against, if you aren't satisfied with your destiny?

Here? I haven't decided yet. It's too soon, and I haven't collected enough data to make a thorough analysis.

Fate and destiny are things people like to say to justify themselves, or to control others. That's what it feels like most of the time anyway where I'm from. Yet, I think it does have some truth to it, one that I think about from time to time.

Fate and destiny are concepts that absolve one of responsibility in one's own life. It's always seemed like a terribly weak stance to ascribe that much power to some invisible force working either for or against you, and that's never sat well with me. What truth do you happen to see there?

It's a difficult thing to decide. A story from the future predetermined the fact that I would meet a hunter and a scholar in order to fight a very dangerous person. Despite everything, that ended up more or less true.

It's not something I enjoy considering. But it's hard to refute.
