My sister, Winter Schnee, isn't in Lunatia anymore. It's been a few days since, and for those who know her or are... [ A short pause. She's not quite sure if she should say the next word, so when she does, it's accompanied with a very unsure expression and airquotes. ] "friends", the Moon Knights and Lunar Scientia believe that it's because she couldn't produce enough Chroma.

I won't go into the details of the situation of Atlas, our Kingdom, but Winter has been working hard ever since she joined the military. It was nice to see her get to know people here, since she doesn't spend the little free time she has with other people. I'll probably get slapped in the head for saying this, but Winter's not here! So... thanks for keeping Winter company here.

... [ She looks to the side. That was awkward, having to thank a population for being her sister's friend. But she's sure Winter would have done the same for her. While she's here, though, and because she doesn't want to end on an awkward note, she figures out something else to say. ] Oh, and... I suppose since I'm already here—

I'd like to learn how to write songs. Lyrics, specifically. What are some of your favourite lyrics from songs you're fond of? Maybe then I can get some inspiration.

That's a good suggestion, I think. Poems have rhythm, too!

[ He hasn't the first idea what causes some of them to stay, and others to go. They might never know the truth of that. ]

They do indeed. I've noticed some songs would read like poetry, were one to have only the words and not the melody... Do you mind if I ask what led to your interest?

Well... when I started recording songs here, I would sing songs written by other people. My manager says I should think about writing my own songs, so I want to learn. Whenever I do it by myself, it all sounds like lyrics written by a three-year old.

What do you have in mind, when you try writing a song?

[schmisse]

I want to present my thoughts in a nice way— something that sounds smart and well-written, rather than conversational phrases and sentences, if that makes sense. I just don't want to write "I love you and your blue eyes", you know? I want it to sound fancy!

I suspect if you concern yourself with ornamentation, the sentiment will be lost. And the sentiment is the part that possesses beauty, is that not so?

Pretend the person you're speaking to doesn't know what you're speaking of. Are these eyes like the azure skies? Are they clear and bright? Are they clouded with thought, or distant in some way you wish to bridge?

What's wrong with blue eyes? Cloud's even glows...

You're even more poetic than I am. [ Senpai... :) ] I want to be able to write something like that!

Nothing is at all wrong with them. Lucifer has blue eyes, in fact. His remind me of the Skies he long protected.

One who awkwardly debates how to respond to his words being at all poetic before deciding he'll just gloss over that instead. ]

I believe you've already begun. You said Cloud's eyes are luminous — that, I imagine, is distinctive among mortals. Does that glow make you think of anything? Remind you of anything?

I don't think it makes me think of anything else, but... It's blue, so it's supposed to be a cool colour, but I always feel like a moth drawn to a flame when I look into his eyes.
