Hello. My name is Weiss Schnee.
[ This is how she usually starts her video posts. Best to introduce herself to everyone first, after all! ]
My sister, Winter Schnee, isn't in Lunatia anymore. It's been a few days since, and for those who know her or are... [ A short pause. She's not quite sure if she should say the next word, so when she does, it's accompanied with a very unsure expression and airquotes. ] "friends", the Moon Knights and Lunar Scientia believe that it's because she couldn't produce enough Chroma.
I won't go into the details of the situation of Atlas, our Kingdom, but Winter has been working hard ever since she joined the military. It was nice to see her get to know people here, since she doesn't spend the little free time she has with other people. I'll probably get slapped in the head for saying this, but Winter's not here! So... thanks for keeping Winter company here.
... [ She looks to the side. That was awkward, having to thank a population for being her sister's friend. But she's sure Winter would have done the same for her. While she's here, though, and because she doesn't want to end on an awkward note, she figures out something else to say. ] Oh, and... I suppose since I'm already here—
I'd like to learn how to write songs. Lyrics, specifically. What are some of your favourite lyrics from songs you're fond of? Maybe then I can get some inspiration.
Anyway, that's it. Thank you for your time.

[There isn't much else she can say on that front.]
That's right. It's in Japanese, which seems to be a rather common language amongst a lot of the Moonblessed, but I also know quite a bit of people who don't know the language at all.
I have a birdbox, but I also have the song on my phone from home, so I can easily transfer the files over and upload them rather easily. It's not a problem.

I've honestly never heard anything like it... I guess I really need to listen and study more music.
I've been taught a few Japanese words here and there, but from what I've heard from friends, writing it is an even more difficult experience compared to just speaking it.
[ Kanji and all! ]

This is a little more modern, but if you heard something from the 80s or something, it'd be very different.
You're right that writing it is difficult... we have a lot of kanji to memorize, and even someone like me who's fluent would say that.

I guess how music has changed where I'm from isn't as distinct compared to how it is in other worlds...
It seems difficult, but I think that's why language is considered an art. Thank you for sharing the song, by the way. Hearing it in Japanese versus the song being translated in a language I can understand has a different effect, even if I don't actually understand Japanese.

It's honestly one of the more difficult languages to learn in comparison, honestly. And it's no problem - if you ever want to listen to similar music, or anything different I can always share my playlists.
