What do you consider to be a 'perfect gift'? Perfect for you to get and perfect in your eyes to give to someone else?
And no, I'm not crazy, this has nothing to do about Xmas (or Frilialia or whatever's called here), that's months away.
I'm just thinking up of some plans and I need a few ideas

Abtract? Like an idea? Does he want world peace?
[ Ash has met someone who sincerely aims for world peace. ]

HEY, that's an awesome idea actually!
Using that orb to get a gift you can't get here! PERFECT! Thanks!
World peace, while very hard to achieve, is not something people would consider completely impossible.
He says "perfect gift would be more hours in a day" and "endless amounts of luck"
And I'm 🤔
I am not the brightest crayon in the box, but even I know this is impossible

[ He's just kidding. Ash doesn't think he can take credit for that one. ]
New York's an expensive place to live so you're already overpaying for a hot dog there, but I'm not looking to pay that much for it. I am kind of curious how it works. Is it going to grab one from somebody's stand?
[ It's kind of amusing to picture the face on a man whose hot dog disappears midday. ]
What's it with people thinking you can actually achieve world peace? Even animals are assholes to each other.
He wants more hours in a day so he can do more stuff. Find something to make what he does more efficiently. If he wants more luck, it's so he can achieve something. Help him practice it. You can't give luck, but if you have enough skill, luck's only so important.

I
don't know how it works!
THAT would be hilarious! A mysterious, disappearing hot dog! People would freak out :O!
Midorimacchi asked for rickshaw and it appeared out of nowhere. It was restricted in size so he used some OTHER thing they sell and now it's full-sized.
Well, it's something to strive for, I guess? People getting along. It is a bit of a big stretch, I'm not delusional enough to believe there will ever be perfect peace. Someone will always try to stir the pot, as they say.
Trust me, he already has all of those things. He is extremely organized, not sure there's a way to enhance it. As for luck, he has all the lucky items in the world (I did gift him four-leaf clover last year). So yeah, he has all those things covered
I HAVE something in mind, as I said, but I thought maybe some random ideas would spark more

[ There are plenty of American's who have never been to New York either, but Ash is meeting way more people from Japan than from his own country. ]
Getting a miniature hot dog is even worse. That's like buying a bite of food. People don't pay for samples.
[ It's best to allow the topic of world peace to pass. He isn't against it so much as he knows it's impossible. There's little reason to keep hammering in the possibility. ]
You'd know the guy better than me.
[ Who knows him not at all. ]

...
Well, you can definitively think that now. I am from Japan.
[Are there a lot of people from Japan? Kise doesn't usually ask, and the ones he knows that are from there are his ex-teammates.]
No no I think this orb summons the proper item! Like, full-sized, unless it's like a car
[Or fucking rickshaw]
I suppose so. I'll have to think more about it, but I think I have an idea what to do.

The people behind this operation really like the Japanese.
[ Ash has met a lot. Those usually not from Japan are from places that likely don't exist in his world. So far, he's met two others from the US, and they've both noted the scarcity of people within their area as well as the abundance of people from Japan. It's not a bad thing; Ash's favorite person is Japanese. But it's a trend he's noticed. ]
Like a car or rickshaw?
[ They seem to have the same thought. ]
If a guy's asking for one of those, he's probably not hurting for a lot of other stuff.
no subject
[Priorities.]
Precisely. They'd show up small. But apparently there's also some kind of water or potion to restore their size.
[Again- Midorima did it to his damn rickshaw.]
No, I suppose he's not.

[ As useful as that'd be in a world without the LA Lakers. ]
Not that I blame you, but it's pretty weird to hear somebody wanting to visit US and not want to go to Hollywood.
no subject
Tho no Lakers here :(
Weird?
Maybe?
I'm a sports junkie. So when I think traveling to the USA is to either watch every single basketball game I can get my hands on OR just being lazy on a beach.
no subject
If you're looking for a beach, the Caribbean would make more sense. That's where they start getting away from the kind of beaches you can find anywhere.
no subject
Caribbean sounds more like a romantic spot to me. I'd probably visit it with someone, rather just myself
no subject
They let you in even if you're by yourself.
no subject
Maybe we could get a recording or something :O
I KNOW THAT
It's just not as fun when you're alone
no subject
[ And sarcasm is his default. Even his comment about the Carribbean was sarcasm. ]
We? You're the one looking to watch them.
no subject
You don't like basketball?
[He includes Ash into watching session too if he's interested, tho his first thought was gathering his ex-teammates for a game night. Ash could totally join!]
no subject
[ Which is probably a surprise considering how popular it is among teens in New York. It's a free activity that anyone can play, though at various skill levels. ]
no subject
I own a sports center here if you want to drop by and watch some. Local teams tend to have friendly matches all the time there.
no subject
What all do you offer?
no subject
There is soccer and track field outside. Then there are pools, basketball courts, archery range, volleyball courts, a gym and a few other things inside. There's spa and sauna on the top floor, as well as a sports doctor, to prevent injuries and emergencies.
no subject
Big place, but it doesn't sound like a bad spot for people to try out.
[ Ash hasn't played very many sports so if he decides to tip is toe into the water, it sounds like a good place to start. ]
no subject
Yup! There are a lot of people that come to just swim around and then hang out on the top floor at the bar or in the spa. And every sport has a coach to instruct you if you never played it.
no subject
I might stop by. I already know how to play most sports so I'm not really looking for a coach, but it's not like there's not enough free time here.
