Hey. My name's Rude. I'm looking for work.
[ It might have taken a couple of beers to muster the courage to post to the network, if the level 3 bar scene behind him is any indication. There's the steam and hiss of frying noodles, the glow of signs advertising other brands of alcohol, and a low murmur of general conversation. The bar he walked into might not be inside the red light district proper, but you wouldn't have to walk far to reach it.
What can he say? It feels a lot more like home. ]
Got a few practical skills. I can fix things. Move things. Done a lot of work guarding things. And people.

[ She looks hesitant, before adding- ]
I'd rather you meet her and have her trust you. If she doesn't, she won't exactly be easy to look after, aye? I normally wouldn't ask anyone, but a situation's come up that I can't ignore. But I can't leave her, either. Suppose your offer came up at a good time... Rude.
[ And there's a slight smile there. ]
Name's Megumi, by the way. I'm a healer, and the Matriarch of my tribe. Where are you from?

There's a lot to unpack in those statements. He pauses a moment, then gives a small, short nod. ]
Haven't been to the Gold Saucer in a long time. You're saying you have one of those and chocobo on your world?
There, there, at least he's delicious.
[ And she'll just hum a few notes of the gold saucer theme, before she nods. ]
As for chocobo, I have my own! A pretty blue one named Starflower. Mine isn't here, though, but he's the prettiest chocobo there is. Ever tried riding one?
[ It always excites her to hear that other worlds have the same things as her own! ]

Maybe she's far in the future. Or he just doesn't understand anything. There's a lot of possibilities, all of which he files away for later. ]
